[Resolved] Toyota Etios V — POOR QUALITY CAR | |||
SUB :- TOYOTA ETIOS REF :- BOOKING REF 00000133 2ND DEC 2010. DELIVERY TAKEN ON 25TH MARCH 2011. STARTED USING 4TH APRIL 2011 AT 12 :35 PM. REG NO MH 02 CB 4699 TOYOTA – ETIOS Q CLASS, WORLD FIRST, INDIA FIRST MY FIRST. ( QUALITY REVOLUTION OR QUESTIONABLE QUALITY CLASS ? THE POOR MOST QUALITY CAR FROM TOYOTA INDIA.) I BOOKED MY ETIOS –V, VERMILION RED THRO’ MADHUBAN TOYOTA IN MUMBAI ON 2ND DEC 2010, I TRUST TOYOTA QUALITY & ASSUMING THAT I WILL GET THE SAME JAPANESE QUALITY STANDARD CAR , FROM TOYOTA INDIA. WITHOUT SEEING THE VEHICLE I BOOKED MY CAR THRO’ MADHUBAN TOYOTA KHAR , MUMBAI . THIS DEALER IS NEITHER CUSTOMER FRIENDLY NOR TRUST WORTHY. WITH SERIOUS PROBLEMS WITH THE DEALER , I GOT THE DELIVERY OF MY TOYOTA ETIOS –V IN VERMILLION RED COLOUR , ON 25TH MARCH . I COULD NOT DRIVE THE VEHICLE TILL 4TH APRIL 2011. ON 4TH APRIL , MORNING ( GUDI PADVA DAY ) WE PERFORM PUJA AND SET IN THE CAR . THE MOMENT I SIT IN THE CAR AND STARTED IT , I UNDERSTOOD THAT IT WAS MY BIGGEST MISTAKE IN PURCHASING THIS CAR. TOYOTA INDIA CALL THIS CAR AS ETIOS –Q CLASS A QUALITY REVOLUTION , BUT I FEEL THAT IT IS ETIOS – QUESTIONABLE CLASS.AS THERE IS NO QUALITY IN THE CAR. THE PERFORMANCE OF THE CAR IS VERY POOR, IT IS NOT DRIVER FRIENDLY . IT VIBRATES AND WOBBLE LIKE AUTO RICKSHAW. THE VIBRATION IS FELT ON STEERING WHEEL AND GEAR ROD /SHAFT. THE ACOUSTIC AND SOUND INSULATION IS VERY POOR. PERFORMANCE OF THE AIR CONDITIONER USED IS NOT SATISFACTORY. PICK UP AND FUEL CONSUMPTION AVERAGE IS NOT SATISFACTORY. I AM NOT AT ALL SATISFIED WITH THE ETIOS – THE QUESTIONABLE QUALITY CAR. IT IS BETTER TO BUY ANY OTHER CAR OR EVEN AUTO RICKSHAW THAN BUYING THE QUESTIONABLE CLASS ETIOS. IT SEEMS THAT TOYOTA JAPAN HAS NEVER TESTED THIS CAR ON THEIR OWN ROADS AND THEY INTRODUCE THIS CAR IN INDIA FOR TESTING AND TRIALS. SO IF THERE IS PROBLEMS THAN THEY WILL IMPROVE OR RECTIFY THE MISTAKES LATER AND LAUNCH IT ,WORLD WIDE. I NEVER EXPECTED THAT BRAND LIKE TOYOTA WILL INTRODUCE SUCH A POOR QUALITY CAR IN INDIA. NOW I FEEL THAT TOYOTA HAS TAKEN , INDIA & INDIANS FOR RIDE BY OFFERING POOR QUALITY CAR. I AM NOT SATISFIED WITH THIS CAR AT ALL. ALSO MADHUBAN TOYOTA ALSO CHEATED ME BY CHARGING 5850 RUPEES TOWARDS OTHER & ACC CHARGES. WHEN I ASKED THEM ABOUT THIS CHARGES , THEY CONFIRMED TO ME THAT IT IS FOR ACCESSORIES . THESE ACCESSORIES ARE OF SO POOR QUALITY AND COLOUR , WHICH ALSO SPOILT THE OUT LOOK OF THE CAR. THEY PUT BUMPER PROTECTOR STRIPS ,IN BLACK AND DOOR PROTECTION STRIPS, IN RED AND SILVER WHICH SPOILT THE LOOKS OF CAR. THEY NEVER GIVE ME THE LIST OF ACCESSORIES AND WITHOUT SHOWING ANY THING TO ME , THEY FITTED ALL THESE ACCESSORIES ON MY CAR . I TELEPHONED MADHUBAN TOYOTA , BUT THERE IS NO RESPONSE FROM THEIR SIDE. THEY DO NOT EVEN ATTEND THE CALLS. I ALSO MADE COMPLAIN TO TOYOTA INDIA BUT NO RESPONSE SO FAR. I KNOW THAT NEITHER TOYOTA NOR MADHUBAN TOYOTA IS GOING TO SOLVE ANY OF THE TECHNICAL PROBLEMS AS THEY ARE NOT INTERESTED ONCE THE VEHICLE IS DELIVERED TO CUSTOMER. I AM PUTTING MY REVIEW ON ETIOS ON ALL THE CONSUMER FORUMS AND BLOGS SO THAT EVERY CAR BUYER WILL THINK BEFORE BUYING . MAY GOD BLESS THEM AND SHOWER SOME WISDOM TO MAKE BETTER CAR. I had Purchased Toyota Etios from Galaxy Toyota New Delhi Dwarka..on 30th June & with in 1 month the Locks of the Bck seat are broken..When went to them..they said the company from where you had put in the seat covers..are to be blamed????
The Question or the concern / blame is not who has done..the QUALITY OF THE LOCKS OF the Back seat are so POOR that while fixing / unfixing the seat, it can happen by anyone...unless untill it is done by ONLY TOYOTA Trained PERSON...Come on give us a break Mr. TOYOTA ...I have been cars like Hyundia & Maruti over last 16 YEARS & it is so custiomer freindly & the parts are so Well Designed & of those quality that anyone can relace the seats...with absolute NO FEAR of getting it spoilt or damaged..
BUT YOUR TOYOTA peole mentions that this is one area of concern which is not in their handf..?????

With a dream of buying SUV vehicle I have choosen the TOYOTA -Etios-G model. Now Since two months I am using the same & found the following observations made.
1) Rain water is entering from bannet into dicky ( Almost two buckets of water will accumulate in the dicky.
2) Very noisy Engine
3) If any humps(Speed breakers), it touches the body or heavy noise it comes.
4) We have to force to apply on doors for closing the door.
5) Rear seat thickness is very less may be 2 to 21/2 inch.
6) First day after my car delivery i found that the cat got small hole on tyre. There was no blow in tyre. I got repair outside.
Service Experiance:
1) I called for repair on 13/08/2011 at 13.00 Hrs, they informed me that no driver was available on that day
2) My car suddenly stoped on one day i.e next day of of service given to them and found that the battery connecdtion were loose. They have not inspected properly after service.
The above were found in two months. As of on now I traveled 1400 KMs. I am really upset for choosing the Etios - G model.

1)one major problem during rainy water stuck in between front bumper & head lights ihave allready complaints with the anand toyata they are saying very soon they are going to forward this complaint through mail to toyata company.
