[Resolved] Trackon Courier — Late delivery of consignment. | |
Goodword Books, New Delhi sent a book parcel to me at Guwahati through Trackon couriers[protected] on 6 May 09. When it did not reach me even on 18 May I got in touch with Goodword Books and obtained the Courier name and the consignment number.On enquiry on 20 May, the local office Guwahati told me that the consignment has arrived some days back.When asked why they did not deliver it they said the address is too far (though I stay within 6 Km from their office near an international convention centre within the City) so they can not deliver it. When asked why they did not inform me (the telephone number and email address was there in the address label) there was no explanation.I am a senior citizen and I had to go myself and collect the package. This is a common ailment of some of the couriers. They do not deliver to all the city addresses nor they call. I faced this problem even with Blue Darts though their office is about 5 KM from my house. I think the courier companies need to do something about this. With best regards. Komoruzzaman Ahmed. A courier was sent to me from our Delhi office on 22 /5 it has not been received till 28/5. Pathetic service, even I tried to track it on website which has not been updated since then. I tried to call a cell No of one of the contact person. and there is no response. It is good that we people run short of time otherwise companies like this would be taken to consumer court again and again till they go bankrupt paying compensation for shoddy services they provide. They are able to run their business only because of first time customers. And this customers will always be there

We M/s.Khushboo Scientific Pvt.Ltd. sent material to M/s.P.N. INTERNATIONAL (100% EOU) -Nadargunj, Lucknow -226 006
against docket no.[protected] dt. 29.07.09 for C.O.D. Rs. 30883/-.
Your people delivered the material 2 days before against DD No. 441670 dt.27.07.09 for Rs.27914/- this information received from your Lucknow, T.P.Nagar Branch on telephone that too when we called for C.O.D. payment.
This indicates that your staff is really not efficient to do the COD business. We have booked C.O.D. for Rs.30883/- & not for Rs.27914/- & you are requested to collect balance amount of Rs.2969/- from the customer OR pay the difference amount of Rs.2969/- from your end without any further delay. Till date we have not received our C.O.D payment so please arrange to deliver the payment to us at the earliest.
