[Resolved]  Traffic Policeman — Activa towed from official parking at Laxmi road and fine wrongly imposed

Dear Sir,

I had parked my Activa on Laxmi Road near Vishal megamart on 4 May 2010 at 6.15pm. I had to go to nearby shop. The bike was parked well inside the parking mark. But to my surprise when I came back the bike was towed.
Hence I went to place where these towed scooters/bikes are kept near Dagadushet Ganesh mandir. The towing people there asked me to identify my bike. Then asked me to pay Rs.50 if I wanted the bike immediately. When asked whether I would get the receipt for same they denied.
I further waited for the photographs(which they usually take while towing). To my surprise when the bike was picked it was well inside the parking slot marked. I tried to argue there with the towing team. But they asked me to speak to the Traffic Policeman incharged name Mr Kazi. I asked him to have a look at the clip taken. But as usual they still maintained that the bike was out of parking.
When asked whether I would get the clip for examination they said yes and asked me to talk to towing people there. But as usual since they were at fault and would get exposed they didnt gave me any copy.
And said it would have been better you paid us Rs.50 instead.
Hence was fined for Rs.100(wrong parking) and Rs.100 for towing.

Kindly look into this matter as we feel cheated.
