I purchased tupperware smart chopper inthe month of January 2012. I was verbally informed that the product is very strong and nothing will happen for 10 years. I used the smart chopper for chopping onions, chillies, tomatoes, ginger and garlic. Within 8 months the 'pull cord' snapped. The chopper is now lying with me useless. I paid Rs. 2300 for the chopper. The advertisemet says "The more you pull the cord, the finer the Chopping". In this case the cord has snapped. I have requested for a replacement of the cover and I have been told that I will have to pay Rs. 500/- for the cord only. This is with assurance that nothing would happen to the product and on that basis and in good faith I purchased the appliance. Will I get a replacement, without any charge? If not, the money has gone down the drain as well the trust in Tupperware products. Was this information helpful? |
