[Resolved] Usha Lexus — Non-Delivery of Furniture

I had booked Dining Table and Center Table vide order no. 440 & 441 on 01-Nov-2009. The place of booking the furniture was company outlet on Mehrauli-Gurgaon Road, New Delhi. As per company policy I paid 20% of the price on booking and rest 80% was to be paid before delivery. The promised time for delivery was 2 weeks from the date of placing the order. On 23-November-2009 I received a call that the order is ready and I need to make the balance payment to Usha Lexus. On 23-November-2009 itself the balance amount was paid to the company with an understaning that the furniture would be delivered in a day or two. However, till date(16-December-2009) the furniture has not been delivered. I have been constantly following it up with the salesman (Mr. Manmohan Singh-[protected]) but he keeps on postponing the delivery without any clear reason. i have purchased an electric water gyeser from an usha authorised dealer in rewa on 122010 its coil got sort and same was given to be repaire under warranty, after a week when i recived my gyser from the authorised service center o[censored]sha lexus i asked him to show me weather the parts he changed are genuin or not and i found that the coil replaced was not genuin as well as there was no thermal cut and safety valve was also bypassed making the gyser a bomb without explosives luckily i meet up with an usha sells man rite there and he confirms that the parts replaced are not genuin and he also arranged to change the same and scloded the service manager as well. usha lexus is requested to take some corrective measures to avoid such conditions i am an engineer hence got to catch such kind of nuisence but if it happens with some non technical coustomer and if your gyser explods in absence of thermal cut out and safety valve it can lead u behind bars .
