[Resolved]  Videocon Jumbo 34 — complaint of Jumbo 34

Dearsirs,
I have purchased a ctv Videocon set bearing.no
on 27/2/08, Along with someother items in this regard, i recieved warranty asssurance from the dealer M/s Galaxy, vizag.

After a time certain defects were cropped up for Tv set and i lodged complaints from time to time and the rectification prolonged for six occassion and yet the service centre M/s Quality electronics Vsp, Authorised service centre couldn't rectify the defect plenarily and iam still experiencing inconnvience.The present defect is the displayed picture on the screen is oscilating and appears to be in a zigzag manner.the service centre people couldn't rectify even after their visits, and servicing.Moreover the sounds which have appeared earlier are also continuing and causing disturbance and this resulted in panic.
Hence i requested to arrange to cause and examination and if the defects could not be rectify my set to be replaced and the earliest

Yes, I have also seen same problem in my Jumbo 34 ctv from videocon today only, soon i am going to lodge complaint to my dealer.
well i had same problem, i lodge complaint many times and service engineer came many time but could not fix the same, than engineer took away the board and tested in the lab and found one PIF controller problem and replaced and tv was doing good, again i have got same problem after 3 month and now tv is not in the warranty period, i have lodge the complaint but even after 4 days there is no visit from the service engineer, i have also demanded to replace either my tv or board completly since the same problem occured, that means the company has delivered me the defected peace which will genetare same problem in the future,

i have purchased jumbo 34 ctv last year
but within one year the circuit borad of tv is damaged
i have complained to the seller lots of time and he send the service center's persons but he coudnt repair it he says that this circuit board is not avialabe we cant repair it
now 2 moths are going but no solutions
i am disapointed with the videocon comapany the products of this company is not reliable. it is not a reliable comany
now i only trust on panasonic and sony their items are very good and good quality/

I buy videocon 34 jumbo in Galaxy, Gajuwaka, but after a year thepictures on the screen is streching both sidesof the corners. we logged complaint and after 2 weeks service Engineer attended the complaint. But he said some components needs to be replaced. Over repetive calls the authorised service center says the components are not available. After one month he bought one MOSFET and replaced but no change. Actual MOSFET can be avalable in the local market, but for that they made it one month. They just guesed the problem, even authorised technician could not predict the problem. so he told to bring the tv to the service center. But to carry such a big heavy TV its little difficult.

I have purchase Videocon Jumbo 34 from Videocon Shoppe on 08.04.2008 immediately when i have get the unit in my home i have observed that the Picture tube is slightly tilted because of which the new scrollings are running from right to left in down ward direction. The problem was complainted but was not rectified. I have compromised with the problem, later a humming sould started, it is following along with the TV programmes which is a very irritating noise. Against my complaint a technician have visited my house but he could not rectify this problem and said after some time that sound (after heated for some time) will disapear. To my greate displeasure that problem is still there. Further to this My Videocon Jumbo 34 have developped a peculiar problem, that is all the colours were merged and a rainbow is appearing on the screen, picture is not clear. Keeping aside all these problems. I think the Videocon is not showing any concern to the customer after the sale of any item and i further under stood that the call services were off-loaded becuse of which the technicians are not at ll sincere at the job except getting the customer's signature to get their bill. As one of our friend said for each and every small complain they are asking us to bring the TVs to their work shop which involves lot of time, labour, transportation etc., It is a big burden to the people resides at the far away places to the cities. - I don't how a big company like videocon is not bothered about such complaints.

sir, our tv picture had stretched ,it was goinging out of the screen.our complain no.KOL[protected].one techicans came on 20 auguast and changed three parts and charged rs 540.we were not statisfy with the work,as other complications like
a buzzzing noise and the tv is getting switched off.on the top and bottom of the screen a blackishpatch is caming which is shaking.on the phone we are lodging complain -KOL[protected], but no one has attended our complain.kindly look into
the problem and solve it at the earliest.

i have also faced problem of expanding picture nowadays which is since purchased. the picture was galring and technician has tried to solve but not succeded satisfactory.

Videocon/34 " Jumbo Television — Inferior Quality Product

I have purchased 34” Jumbo television before 1.5 year under 3 Yrs bond that I will be entitled for 32” Plasma after completion of 3 years.
Narrating the whole issue in a brief, since last 7-8 months I am facing serious issues with the television. Red patches are appearing on the screen. Technician have visited but no satisfactory resolution provided. Technician tried to resolve problem by experimenting on my television. First of all technician tried to resolve problem by changing the color IC but nothing happen and still red patches didn’t disappear. Again I raised complaint and technician told me that there is fault with the picture tube, Technician replaced picture tube on 19th Sep, 2010 but red patches were not reduced. Already 10 days have been passed, I have mailed Videocon customer care & Sameera services for quick resolution but I am not getting any response from their end. I have faced worst experience by purchasing Videocon product. I have also written mail to Sh. Venugopal Dhoot (Chairman of the Company) for quick resolution but not getting and reply from their end.

I am not satisfied with the product and services. Red patches started appearing on television without much usage. The quality of the videocon product is worst. I feel that i am mentally harassed by Videocon.

I am also facing same display problem in my Videocon 34" Jumbo TV.
If most of the users are facing this problem them it may be manufacturing fault then company should take thses faulty sets back.
Videocon should take action to solve the problem and to save their image as a good brand.

Of bearing Sale Invoice cum Delivery Challan No [protected] dated[protected] and Model no MODEL-CTV8600QS and DOP NO[protected] at Digital Shoppy,
Habsiguda, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh.
We have been told that regarding offer of “mano ya na mano” that after Three years
We will get Plasma 32 inches TV FREE OF COST and before that we will receive a FREE BOND CERTIFICATE.
But we haven’t received FREE BOND CERTIFICATE and Plasma TV even after completing nearly four
Years
So I request you kindly to help us regarding this. Otherwise I will proceed to consumer forum
