Please look into the issue mentioned below and please guide me how to go ahead with this.
I had one of the worst experience with Vijay Packers and Logistics and would never recommend anyone to use them. It is one of the most expensive mover and packer yet the services are worst. To shift my household utensils (only utensils and clothes, no furniture, electronics etc) from Delhi to Thane (Mumbai) they charged Rs. 4800. Thinking that the services would be good, I hired them. They promised delivery at Thane within 4 days. The goods were picked up in Delhi on 23nd Dec 2009 and told me that the delivery would be made on 28th Dev 2009. I called them on the 29th Dec and was told that the items were dispatched 2 days late and I should get them in a couple of days more. I again called them after a few days and was told that they had a bulk order from Hyderabad, so the truck has been routed from Hyderabad to Mumbai. They told me that the track has been stopped at Maharashrta border as there is a protest going on there by some transporters and there is a danger that they will damage the truck. Finally after 2 weeks I got the delivery. The delivery boys (6 in no) told we that the truck started from Delhi only 3 days back and came directly to Thane. The delivery boys demanded Rs. 250 extra for octroi. I showed them the quotation which mentioned Rs. 4800 and told them that everytihng including Insurance and Service Tax has been paid and I dont have to pay anything now. Those guys were so rude that they threatened me and said that they will take one of the blankets with them if I did not pay. I called their representative in Delhi and he too was very rude. He told the delivery boys to take the items back if I did not pay. I had to pay them Rs. 250 to get rid of them.
It would be really nice if you could please help me to teach them a lesson, so that no other customer suffers similar fate in future. Hope to hear from you soon,
