Mr Surendra

Please treat the matter fairly and as urgent. Please do not spoil the image of government offices, when the Central government / Anna Hazare and million others like you and me are fighting to bring sanity into government offices working, and passport offices in particular

False 'current status position' on web page is highly misleading and with above facts it is to be corrected immediately and fairness has to come in your working.and passport dispatched immediately.

Please check that the file D 000390 dt[protected], is converted to Tatkal on[protected], after personally bringing and handing over police verification certificate to Acting passport officer Mr Surendra .

The file number D 000390 dt 25/[protected] has to be treated as completed and new passport sent immediately with out any delay as the date given by you is latest by 6-5-2011.

Also update online status and do not miss-lead your superiors by showing no police clearance received so far , when you have personally received it on[protected] and advised conversion to 'tatkal' with delivery by[protected]only for administrative purpose such as printing and max time of 7 days ), and dispatch the new passport immediately as 6-5-2011 has passed . Your failure cannot be my loss.

As per the requirement of US embassy to submit a new passport to stamp H1 Visa, I desired to apply for a new passport in place of damaged passport under 'tatkal'. But I was advised by your office that I can apply for new passport under general scheme first damaged passport, and it will be converted to ;Tatkal' on submission of police verification report and will be issued within a week.
Accordingly I submitted my application on[protected] paying 2500/ ( file no D 000390 ), obtained police verification report on[protected] and paid another 2500/ and upgraded my application to tatkal . You have given a delivery date of 6-5-2011. I hope you will deliver it to-day 6-5-2011 without fail, as my submission to US embassy will be delayed entirely due to you, which is very sad.
Another dis-appointing thing is though you have received Police verification report on[protected] personally and accounted Rs2500/ for tatkal for the same file number D 000390 of Vikram Palakodety, in on line status you are showing ' Police clearance not received ' which is strange. Receipt 1039654 , file D000390 dt[protected], you have categorically stated on the basis of police verification certificate received by you on[protected], the delivery of new passport is on 6-5-2011. Please honour the same and dispatch it on 6-5-2011.
