[Resolved]  Vision Express — PATHETIC PRODUCTS

This is for VISION EXPRESS, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad(UP).
I got powered sun glasses made from them for Rs 2100. They charged more than MARKET. I thought, no worries, at least they will give QUALITY.
But to my surprise the frame used was not of more than Rs 400, Nose Pads used were of Rs 15 quality and even glass is not fit. Frame couldn't hold glass for more than 1 Week at a stretch. It simply falls down.

Even now my sun glasses are not usable.

ITS A WORST PRODUCT I EVER USED IN MY LIFE...
Unfortunately i also purchase one spectacles from Vision Express, Malleshwaram bangalore, Paid Rs. 3750, worthless for me.
Suffering since 7 months. not at all comfortable. Not getting any help from them...

Whenever i go and complain they will simply adjust the frame. Its not at all comfortable...I wasted my 3750 rupees ...
Guarantee and all they will talk for advertisement...But its just to make fool to others..

Reliance Vision express Spectacle is the worst product and i am 100% agree with that... Its just a help from my side, to the people who are going to purchase spectacles...at least they can save their money...
i fully agree with the above comments.. i had gone to vision express basaveshwarnagar with my mother as she needed new glasses. he took more time than mentioned in the bill and finally he came up with a substandard product ( the bifocal lens (the bottom part of the glass) is bulging by 1mm than the rest of the glass). she was not even able to read...
when we asked him about it he simply said that his product is good and she needs to use it for a while to get accustomed to it. finally though we had paid an advance of 1000 rs we had to leave the shop without the glasses. then when i asked him about where his head office is he has the cheek to say that they do not have a head office and his cluster manager works outside by just visiting the branches (may be they hav started to work on the streets). but iam not going to leave and move on . if they cannot give me a satisfactory product, i need my money back. the sales man named Prasad, misbehaved with us and was unreasonable. will complain about him at the head office.
I agree, I purchased one spectacle from Vision Express Janakpuri. i am surprised to see one Glass has crack. they still delivered. Now more than 10 days over I have not received my Power glass.

Recently I was visited your vision express show room located at periyar nagar Perambur area Chennai. I ordered pair of spects to my mother and wife of order Nos 872 and 901 respectively. At the time of order the sales woman who attended us told me that there is a offer in our show room who purchased the spects of worth Rs2000/- and above we will provide another set of spects as free by paying just Rs99/-only. I was very much impressed and asked her to provide another set for self and daughter. For this she was agreed . Today we visited the shop the person who is incharge of shop has refused to provide the offer. And his language used is cant tolerate.

Is this way of people behaving with customers? If possible kindly do the needful.

Feroze.

I'VE JUST BOUGHT MY GLASSES FROM VISION EXPRESS, JUST OVER A WEEK AGO, A WEEK AFTER MY EYE TEST I WENT AND PICKED UP MY NEW GLASSES, AFTER TRYING THEM ON AND READING FROM THE CHART, I PUT THEM IN THE BAG AND WENT HOME, NEXT DAY I WENT OUT FOR A DRIVE, ONLY TO FIND OUT THE GLASSES WERE FOR READING AND CUMPUTER USE, THE FREE PAIR WAS FOR COMPUTER USE ONLY, NONE OF THIS WAS EXPLAINED TO ME AT THE TIME OF THE EYE TEST OR WHEN I WENT TO TRY THEM ON, SO BACK I GO TOMORROW AND GET THE GLASS CHANGED FOR READING AND DISTANCE, BECAUSE I WANT TIO SEE A BIT FURTHER THAN THE END OF THE BONET OF THE CAR.
I TOTALLY AGREE WITH THE ABOVE COMMENTS, I HAVE BOUGHT A PAIR OF GLASSES FROM VISION EXPRESS HYDERABAD, AFTER 1 MONTH TO MY SURPRISE I FOUND MY FRAME STARTED DEVELOPING CORROSION AND THEY COMPEL CUSTOMER TO TAKE WHAT THEY SUGGEST

Very very pathatic service and the feeting of the glasses. My glass is not fitted properly. even after asking them to fit it they are not

Glass thickness is DOUBLE THEN THAT I WAS USING "ZIESS" GLASSESS.

REQUEST EVERYONE NOT EVEN TRY THIS PRODUCT. EVEN local glassess is better then this.
We have supplied Tea & Coffee premixes and have not received our payment, we had to stop the supply also, no one has been deputed for this purpose, a lenses selling COMPANY needs a specks to check the pinch given to us which has made us bleed, we need to talk about this we went by BIG NAME NOW THE SHADOW IS EVEN DARKER, we have been follow- up very hard but all in vain, we have been left with no other alternative than ... we will always do WHAT WE HAVE DONE NOW TILL WE DON'T SQUARE UP OUR ACCOUNTS, WISH IT WAS DONE EARLIER.
I am a resident of Gurgaon, state of Haryana, and have since the inauguration of the showroom purchased my reading / distance and sunglasses from the Vision Express showroom at the Ansal Paza Mall, Gurgaon. Initially I received good services and products from the company but am very disappointed and angry to learn that the company's customer services has degenerated to the level of a pan and bidi shop.

Firstly, I have been very frustrated to learn that the company's showroom never keeps adequate stocks of its glass frames. Secondly, the counter staff are always making excuses as to why a customer cannot get his or her preference of frame. Thirdly, the counter staff are so clerical and idiotic in their responses that they cannot see their customers in a professional light - for instance just today when I walked into the showroom to place an order for a new pair of reading and distance glasses, the computer system was not working and the staff told me that they could not take my order and advised me to to come in the evening. I told them that since time was a premium with me it was not possible to do so and suggested that they manually process the order and that I was willing to pay the advance charges so that the order process could begin immediately. They refused to do so. Also when I wanted them to sell me the same glass frames that I had bought earlier they told me that the frames were not available and this has not been the first time that they have responded unprofessionally. I am very angry with the staff at the showroom at Ansal Plaza and will take up this matter seriously with the CEO of the company at Bangalore. I hate rude and clerically minded company staff who cannot look beyond the palms of their hands. I hope otgher complainers like me will read my complaint and initiate to complain against this company's third rate services.
LETTER OF APPRECIATION FOR MR. NAYAN FOR HIS GOOD PROFESSIONALISM

Dear Mr. Nayan:

It was indeed a pleasure to have met you at your Vision Express showroom at the Ansal Plaza Mall at Gurgaon earlier this week in connection with the resolution of the conflict between your staff and me in regard to the purchase of my reading and distance glasses. Thank you for your very professional assistance and your moral concern towards me as one of your oldest clients. I very much appreciate this from you and will certainly call on you whenever I face problems with your staff at Vision Express.

All said and done, I would officially like to summarize for you here below the unprofessional attitudes of your staff, Mr. Hemant Sharma and Mr. Vikas. I am doing this so that you can conveniently and officially record the unprofessional behaviors of both these men and to then ensure that these unprofessional behaviors are never repeated to any of your your valued clients in the NCR.

First, Mr. Vikas told me that since the internet was down and therefore he was not in a position to issue me a receipt for advance payment towards the execution of the order for my reading and distance spectacles. I did not and do not understand the meaning of this response from Mr. Vikas. I fail to see the connection between the internet and the issuance of an advance payment receipt. Normally all companies have a financial application software on their computers that enables the printing of payments receipts. Even if it were not possible to generate a computerized payment receipt then at least your staff should be trained to to manually issue a payment receipt especially when the customer is ready to make a cash or credit / debit card payment. Since the Swipe Machines lines were working at the time, a Swipe Machine Receipt for payment made by Credit Card or Debit Card should have been officially and legally sufficient. Even if the Swipe Machine lines were not functional at the time, I would have had no problems in paying in cash. But to tell a customer that he needs to come again to the showroom to place an order for the spectacle frames just because the office internet was down that made it impossible to issue a payment receipt is the height of discourtesy on the part of Vision Express Staff towards a client.

Secondly, I am surprised and shocked to know that neither Mr. Vikas nor Mr. Hemant had the professional sense and courtesy to inquire as to the availability of the selected reading and distance frames from the company's 10 to 15 showrooms in the NCR. Even a class four student would have had the logic to think accordingly and therefore I am surprised to note that your staff have not done so. In fact they were so damn rude to me that they had the audacity to tell me bluntly that the chances of getting these frames were as good as negligible. Further there was no effort on the part of your showroom staff to even attempt to offer a solution to the acquisition of the frames. Mr. Vikas, particularly, was so shockingly ignorant and confused that he conveyed the impression that he was doing me a favor by advising me to come to the showroom to meet his senior colleague, Mr. Hemant, who he felt would be in a position to assist me. I requested Mr. Vikas to tell Hemant that he needed to speak to me but on both occasions Mr. Hemant was not available on his cell phone neither did he bother to call back. For your information I attempted to call Mr. Hemant three times on his cell no. but received no reply.

Thirdly, I demanded to know the telephone number of the Bangalore Corporate Office to voice my complaint and again I was so surprised to note that Mr. Vikas did not have the telephone no. nor the corporate e-mail address. I consider this response to be the height of corporate stupidity and blatant corporate ignorance. Imagine a showroom not knowing its corporate office phone no.?????? I then asked Mr. Vikas for the NCR Regional Manager in the hope that I could get in touch with him, but here too Mr. Vikas was ignorant of the over all manager for Vision Express showrooms in Gurgaon or its showrooms in the NCR for that matter!!!

Fourthly, in sheer desperation to take matters into my own hands in order to ensure that I get the right spectacle frames, I again requested Mr. Vikas to atleast inquire from Mr. Hemant or any of his company colleagues to obtain the Bangalore Head Office no., or even the senior manager in the NCR or any other Vision Express Showroom in the NCR, but here again Mr. Vikas was not able to give me this simple and basic information. Mr. Nayan, are we clients supposed to assume that each and every one of your showrooms in India live and work in isolation to one another? Are Vision Express showrooms located in the various Indian metropolises islands unto themselves? If so, then I must complement you guys as being the veritable trendsetters of a brand new corporate work style and ethics in today's high end management.

Last but not least, when I requested Mr. Vikas if I could have a lens cloth for my present reading and distance glasses, he told me that they had none in stock. Mr. Nayan, I can understand that there are times when a showroom does not have stock of its most basics accessories and therefore I may not entirely fault Mr. Vikas for this lacuna, but given the pattern and sequence of his responses, this answer only added to my anger and irritation with him.

Mr. Narayan, you are indeed a very professional man and make an excellent manager for Vision Express in Gurgaon, and perhaps in the NCR. Nevertheless, I wish to advise you that you need to ensure that your staff at all your show rooms are adequately trained to respond to your company's esteemed clients with courtesy, knowledge and most importantly with a definite focus on SOLUTIONS, without which no commercial establishment in the world can ever function. If you read case histories of the great product and service companies of the world, which I am sure you have done, you will note that the reasons for their national and international successes is their uncompromising commitment to providing solutions to their valued clients. I agree solutions are not always guaranteed owing to the limitations of human life but nevertheless the effort to do so should certainly be the most conspicuous among a company's qualitative virtues. It has been my experience, strange as it may sound, that the truly discerning customer is more attracted to the human side of professional service then he is to the product side because in the final analysis a customer appreciates his or her product as much as he or she appreciates the rendered services (the human side) of the company. The moral of the story: FIRST WIN YOUR CUSTOMER'S HEART. HIS LOYALTY TO YOU WILL AUTOMATICALLY FOLLOW

Mr. Nayan, I trust that the above will have contributed to your keen sense of professional pursuance in the overall interest of your esteemed company, Vision Express, as well as in your pursuance of customer loyalty.

Sincerely

Roland Fernandez

i bought rimless glasses from kothrood (pune) store about 1 month ago. The glasses weren't fitted on my head. They become very loose after 5-6 days. i visit the store at least 5-6 times in a month for the same problem. At my last visit visions representative told me that my glasses is lightweight. so, they never fit on my head properly.
vision and your representative must told me the weight problem before purchasing. i payed 1700 buks for this frame. if i knew the problem i bought something else from your store. why vision make hidden business to customers. we people came to your store for brand.
vision will not exchange my glasses. should i go for fitting at every alternate day.
Bought a pair of sunglasses from vision express, broke down after 10 days without any mishandling. no communication from them even after 10 days & suddenly they told me that it was all my mistake. Never purchase any sunglasses from them. Worst service, quality ever.

6 Months back I bought Spectacle from Vision Express Pune Vishrantwadi.I paid around Rs.12, 000 /for a progressive lens which they claimed is made by Poly carbon metal and is Anti blur, Scratch Resistant, More Vison angle etc..
The frame I chose was titan made they claim.
From the day one I am facing problem.Within 10 days I approached them twice to repair. With great arrogance they done it.
But the quality of spectacle is USELESS.i am not comfortable with the vision, day by day I feel loosing my ability to red.
Now the glass is developed scratches where they claimed it is scratch resistant.
There is no User guidance to clean or maintain the product.
They say the guarantee is against breakage. Any dump knew that plastic glass won't break while falling and reliance give one year warranty for that.making the Customer FOOL.
I have no option but to change the Glass
They do not have any customer grievance cell.

One thing is sure Neither I will buy any Vision express Product nor recommend to anyone.

We had a bad with Visin Express products. My wife got rim-less specs from there for more than Rs. 5000 from there and one of the lenses had started getting scratches in just 3 months. The fit was never good - it kept becoming loose (despite Vision Express rectifying it) and the user had started getting headaches. I would not recommend Vision Express to anyone, Titan Eye is much better.
It is a money swindling centre . I purchased glasses and frame . Frame came off in one day and glasses gave me double vision . I complaint but Vision express employees were argumentative and forceful . They have taken my glasses and asked me to complaint customer care but customer care does not even respond . I think I'll have to go to Consumer court. The site they have given for consumer legal notices online does not work . I don't know what is to be done with rogues who are exploiting Indians by showing false schemes .
