i Have taken vodafone postpaid connection, The store people gave me option to chose number and i was opted my number as 9966XX1783 with Plan 199, gives 10Ps to any Vodafone Numbers and 40Ps other Mobile Numbers and 100mins Free, and person who had given the simcard taken an Rupees on 300rupess additionally said to activate we need this.and vodafone people came to enquiry to my office and home.and after that my mobile number was activated they have activated the other number to me i.e [protected] with Plan Some XXX for any numbers 49Ps. i have intimated the same to Vodafone Store in DSNR,Hyderabad,Andhrapradesh Many times But they have simple wasted my time saying that it have changed. afterward also many times i intimated them that it was not changed. Once in a Hurry that to reach vodafone store i also lost my mobile also. and i have taken for same simcard again not to miss guide the facts. the invoice of bill came to my home saying that ur PLAN is SOME XXX with any numbers 49Ps the bill was Rupees 900+change but supposed to get 500+. i intimated the same many time people in the vodafone store team lead one lady and also for Kalyan, Shekar store members to cancel my sim they only said that i have to pay the total amount which for their mistake they prolonged this issue for two months and said that other taxes and late fee i need to pay around 1300+ amount, i said that y i need to pay this amount it was problem with you people solve my problem legally i will pay than, and even there is no system to intimate any one such problems in the service provider company they simple through to one another and say that you need to go branch office or you need to go head office etc..., i called many time to customer care people also they even saying that they will not have any right , i only simply said if they are no right with you what ur doing as customer care i[censored]r not caring ur customer. i begged to raise at least any complaint on this people they said every time we are doing same and almost 20people called for 2months and intimated same no one taken the responsibility, as i am employee i need to concentrate even my works also right , i was totally disturbed because of this issue.and they talk to me in rash way saying that what every you want to do you do, after payment only we can cancel your sim card number in deactivate mode.please solve my issue.....

Dear customer care

As i am customer of hutch/vodahone form past 2 and 1/2 years and iam not satisfied with the service providing by the coy...
Last month i got to pay the bill, where the International messege is charged..

I want know how it is charged , when i have not done and even without any proof YOU /vodaphone
has claimed for it ...
atleast if it is done , i cud have got the messege..

So iam totally disagree and need to go for other services.

I, Rajesh Mohan Thakur, is an academic proffesional and my working place is Greater Noida.Since taking your post paid plan i am facing problem hi problem and i request you to ensure that you please take care and solve these problem immediately otherwise it creates bad impression and the problem we people are facing is really unlimited
I explain you some of them

I was regular user of your pre paid paln ( mostly 330 or more )and the executive of vodaphone regularly convince me to take post paid plan.They tell me your name is drawn in lottery system and you will get wrist watch while convert the plan in post paid (but till today I havn’t ) .thenafter I took plan of 250 and convert prepaid into postpaid.I was said to use the new facility after 24-36 hours but till 8 days I was without any prepaid-postpaid.
Then after I sent a people to close the facility as I had to go to my hometown for my marriage.but after talking to one of the executive by phone I decide to continue the postpaid facility after returning from home.
Okay I was in Delhi after 25 days and get my connection postpaid again after 7 days of clarification even I visit Vodaphone Care ( Near Atta market, sector 26, Noida ) twice in between, for that.
Now come to another point
People from vodaphone visited to my address thrice in between for verification ( why…?).
Okay from first day Executive told me that I will get 1.20 @STD call and below one for local and first month bill amount will be adjust with 250 which I already given. After getting postpaid connection I was told that I have to pay additional 49 Rs.for lower the STD rate from 2.40 to 1.20.
Marta kya na karta, chalo ye bhi sahi….
When I want to take this facility then I was asked that I will get the lower charge facllity after first bill payment that means till the I have to pay the STD rate higher then all other plans.

Now come today,
I was being informed that my credit limit cross 800 so I have to deposit at least 500 today otherwise there may be some problem.( Tell me when my last day of amount deposit is 11th April then why should I pay it today ) Also nwhen I tell the executive that what’s about the reimburse with 250 the she asked me to talk the matter with Vidaphone care.

These are some of the mental and yes physical also tension I am facing.

Complaint against VODAFONE POSTPAID CONNECTION ([protected])

The above mentioned number is an old connection of mine. Earlier i was using the same number as prepaid, recently i was mislead by the service provider through constant untimely call, sms, visits that if i change this number to postpaid i would be getting lot of additional benefits like low call rate, no tariff etc.but all their promises are fake and misleading and against the consumer interest.

Now when i wanted to switch back to the prepaid connection with the same number, first of all i was asked to wait for 3 months but even after 3 months they are not ready to listen to my request, moreover they are asking additional amount from my side to switch over.
They are not ready to return back the refundable security deposit, instead they want me to pay the billed as well as the unbilled amount without any deduction as per my service plan.NO HARD COPY OF BILL IS PROVIDED TO ME SO FAR.

sir.when i was using the prepaid services of the same provider my usage amount never exceeded 400 rs but since i switched to postpaid it has turned more then double.

Inspite of my constant visits to VODAFONE STORE i was never provided the details of my bill and was misled with false information.


Now i feel cheated by the service provider.Accordingly i request you to look into the matter and instruct the provider to provide me the same number on prepaid and refund me the security etc and also adjust all the discrepancies in the billing amount.
In the past the Authority had issued several directions to telecom service providers to enhance and ensure transparency in the matter of service provision.
The objective of the Authority in issuing these directions has been to provide the consumers with the opportunity to make an informed choice and also to protect them from subscribing to or billed for any service due to lack of proper information or understanding. BUT I REALLY DON'T THINK VODAFONE IS DOING SO.
Sir, the tariff brochures given to me did contain complete details of the tariff plans.
The pulse rate/tariff for premium rate service were never being told in all communications.
Service providers shall inform customers in writing, within a week of activation of service, the complete details of his tariff plan. The changes in any item/aspect of tariff in the chosen package shall also be intimated to the customers in writing but vodafone never did this with me.
So i hereby request for a early and immediate action so that i m not deprived of mobile phone usage because all outgoing services are being stopped by the service provider.

I purchased a vodafone connection on Thursday 25 jun 09 but today is 30 and my connection has not been activated.Poor and very bad service of vodafone...I only suggest my friends not to go for vodafone espacially postpaid connection...Its not customer oriented company as also they have poor customer care and help desk service...

Vodafone — Change of montly rental plan

I have taken vodafone mobile connection. now after one month i am asking to change my Current plan
but according to them it is not possible before three month.
I never heard the same. if this is not true then please let me know what i can do against them.
vodafone is very very bad company..all customer care untrained appointed because he or she give information incorrect than i going vodafone store so vodafone store customer support executive asking mistake it customer care executive so does not purchase vodafone connection.......
DISCONTINUATION OF SERVICE and NON-EXISTENT TECHNICAL SUPPORT

BACKGROUND - I have been a customer of Vodafone's prepaid service for almost a year. Less than a week ago, I decided to switch to a postpaid plan (offered to my company by Vodafone) while retaining the same number. A Vodafone executive got in touch with me promptly and collected the paperwork, assuring me of a transition within 2 days.

COMPLAINT - My prepaid connection was DEACTIVATED the next day, and remained deactivated for 2 days, before I received the new sim card. This outage was WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE and caused damaging disruption to my work. Moreover, additional services such as GPRS are still NOT FUNCTIONAL on my connection (they used to work fine when I was on prepaid). All attempts to reach customer support on their "Happy to Help" numbers (111 and 198) have been met with "Sorry, we are unable to process your request now." I hope (but don't expect) that the billing cycle starts only once I have fully functional service.

Vodafone — wrong monthly rental plan activated on my no.

Dear All

I am using a Vodafone no [protected] for which i gave a request on 27th Apr to change the plan for one year advance rental of Rs 499. Even when i called up to confirm the activation of service between 3-6th May the executive told me that service is not yet activated and took the request against and gave me a service request no which i tont remeber.

I have got a ECS activated for this no. and any outstanding amount due is debited from the credit card.
Now when i checked the bill for May, i was shocked to see the monthly rental for Rs 499 getting charged to my account since April.
Even after calling up the customer care, no solution is provided and they dont even have the conversation documented on the account. Also no service request no. is available in there records.

Please advise how can i take up the matter to consumer court.

I am Vijay amrutkar. I have activated Vodafone Postpaid Connection on 30 augast. Within a week my outgoing service is deactivated & my vodafone bill is reach to 1496/-. I had visited Vodafone Care office for Bill details , But they haven't provided me the details till the date.I think there must be excess charge on my bill. So kindly take needful action.

well i took a new postpaid connection from Vodafone outlet in ambala cantt and was told that it will be activated in two working days but it got activated only after 5 days and numerous visits and requests to the Vodafone store . then at the time of taking the connection i opted for a 499 monthly rental plan and a 3GB plan o[censored]nlimited internet on 3G but when after 5 days i was told that my bill has crossed the credit limit i was shocked as my billing in 5 days only had been approx 3300 when i contacted the customer care they told that i have a corporate plan activated of 175 monthly and no internet pack has been activated and i have been charged on usage basis after which when i went to Vodafone store they told me that since i am a army personnel i can only get rs 175 monthly rental and nothing else at all while the customer care ppl told me that its my choice which plan i chose which sounds logical when i confronted the Vodafone store in-charge that why the wrong plan has been activated without my knowledge she just told she cant do anything either i pay the amount to resume my services or else wait for three months in which she will try to get the issue resolved i have dumped the sim and switched to idea now and will advice the other customers seeking new connection that pls don't go for Vodafone as it has employed total incapable and in competent team and there is nothing like their motto which says happy to help as even when i had written a email to Vodafone care no reply has been received from their end also .
