[Resolved] Vodafone / Lost SIM Block Request — Did not block the sim after giving report more over provided wrong information | |
The vodaphone customer care is very poor. First of all, thery are not clear on the actions they need to do on complaint. When I call 1st time after lost of my sim at 9PM : The response was I need to go to police station and get the FIR then need to go to local Vodafone store to block the sim. I requested them to block it for tempararily as it should not get misused by any one because I could fine Vodashore during night to block it. Their response was they can not do that and their complany policy will not allow that. Even if they make request to block, it will take 3 working days to get sim blocked. When I call 2nd time after lost of my sim at 10PM: The response from assoicate that he need to inform my mobile information to his supervisor. He will block it very soon. I required to go to vodastore with police FIR copy to get new sim with same number. Result: They did not block sim and it was active after 10AM next day. When I call 3rd time to get status of Sim block request I made earlier at 11AM: The response was the SIM was active and not blocked and it is not possible to block without FIR from police station and that too need to be done at local voda phone store. Then I went Voda phone store first to inform: The reply was no need of FIR copy, just need ID proof and address proof to block old sim and issue new SIM. The Conclusion is: No customer security avaiable for Voda phone subscribers. If you lost your sim, it can be misused customer care never bothers on that. So be careful of your self.
