This is Sharmila Basu using Vodafone no [protected]. On 28th morning I got a call from Alpha Telecom Bhandup (B – 1003, Station Plaza, Station Rd, Bhandup West, Mum – 78) for an additional Sim Card and if I get the Card with an initial payment of Rs. 350.00, they will give me the following benefits on my existing card : 1 paisa – 1 sec 199 plan 3 Vodafone nos on which I can call on the basis of 10 p per min 1 paisa - 1 sec on domestic roaming on my existing Card Itemised bill for 3 billing cycles (When I told them that I have already agreed for 1 year itemized billing by paying Rs. 249.00; they said the same will carry on after 3 months; thus total = 12 months + 3 months) I would get a Reebok gift after submitting the 1st bill of the new number ([protected]) I paid Rs.350.00 on 28th Dec’09 afternoon. The new simcard was delivered to me on 30th Dec’09. I was promised, BF 199 1 sec 1 paisa will be activated immediately on my existing card with all other benefits. Now, after repeated follow-ups, I am unable to get a proper response. Every time I call up, I speak to a lady called Ms.Neelam (she is the one who spoke to me first from Alpha Telecom). She says the following : 1. The connection 199 plan has been activated on my existing no. [protected] 2. She will speak to the respective person in Vodafone and call me back. I called up Vodafone helpline repeated to check if my services are activated but there was no confirmation or request sent to them, I should visit a Vodafone store with my challan. When I called up Ms.Neelam this morning, she again said the services are activated and there is no need to go to Vodafone store. I’m very sorry to say I’m clueless on what is happening. I strongly feel a Company of your repute should delink from this kind of institutions which leads your client from heaven to hell.
