[Resolved] Vodafone — Unfair practice | |||
International Roaming and Itemised billing charges are levied for entire month even though it is used/ ticked for 1 day. Ideally it should have been charged based on proportionately. I was allotted the connection on 24th July and billing cycle is 26th July. I was charged for entire month for International roaming and and Itemised billing. I sent SMS for deactivation of both the services on 3rd August. I received bill for August where in both the aforesaid services have been charged. After enquiring at Vodafone toll free number I am told from next month onwards it will not be charged. Requested to explain for reason for charging for entire month, call centre do not have satisfactory answer. If one compute total charges for 11 days I was charged by Vodafone is 199 each for 2 months i.e. 398 and Rs.50 each for itemised billing i.e. 100. In total I am charged Rs.498 for usage of facilities for 11 days. All these MNCs are robbers. TRAI need to stop them from using unfair practices. Was this information helpful? | |||
