[Resolved]  Voter Id Card — voter id card

I am again very unhappy to say that there is no any great news and difference for me as far as electoral enrolment is concerned. So far my name & my wife name have not been included in the current voter list even though we had submitted the FORM 6 two times along with all the address proofs. My current rental residential is A-65B, Chattarpur Ext. Near Nanda Hospital New Delhi-110074

I don’t know how many times we have to submit the same? It’s totally regret time for us.

In the last year enrolment time between[protected] we registered our names in Mehroli office and same printouts along with address proofs we had submitted . But whenever I tried to search our names and surprised to know that our names are not included.

Even though during current revision of electoral list we had visited to office Mehroli But again even this time our name has been Not included at all?? Now I am totally frustrated and we didn’t have so much potential to run from here to there just for getting a VOTER ID CARD.

See we are staying in Delhi from past 11 years and due to lack of follow up by your electoral officers and not because of ours fault we have missed the VOTER ID CARD every time.

So I don’t expect but even though let me know if still we can get it our VOTER ID CARDS.?

I never thought that getting a voter’s ID card is such a big problem in this country. It’s not only a problem but also we have to go through all sorts of insults just to get our id card.
About 30-45 days back a person came to our door and took all the details for voter’s ID card, including our photos. After a month or so just few of them get our ID cards which do not contain proper details. I got my voter’s ID card with my picture on it, however it mentioned a different name and date of birth. When I enquired about this the official told me that he has nothing to do with this since his only work is to just distribute the ID cards and told me to check at the KV School in CV Raman nagar, Bangalore. Today when I went there to enquire, I noticed hundreds of people waiting in Q to make corrections even after giving the proper details. I went to the first table and mentioned about the correction, which he never understood a bit what the problem was even after speaking in his own language. After telling him thrice he told me to fill up form 8 which he didn’t have it. Then he told me to go to the 2nd table. The 2nd person whom I met was more disgusting then the first one. When I mentioned him what the problem was, he gives me a rude reply “Didn’t you know that your name was wrong when you sat before the computer to take a picture”. Is this the way the government officials treat the public. After all it’s not our duty to print and make corrections of the voter’s ID card. I also noticed the government official scolding another person who is a scientist in DRDO as “are you educated or not”.
Now I understand why many of them don’t have a voter’s ID card .If this is the kind of service we get to get a voter’s ID card, then why do we need one. I in fact saw many of them going back uninterested to make a voter’s ID card, I did not want it either. My sincere request to you is, please replace those people with some useful men who have knowledge about what the public is asking.
I have done my duty to get a voter’s ID card and if your people are not interested to give one it’s not my mistake. It’s not only my voice of complaint; I am actually speaking on behalf of every one whom I saw today. It’s totally a waste of manpower and money paid for these useless officials.
Even though I know I won’t get a proper ID card, I am still sending my details.

We have applied for Voter Card ( address: 1/6835 East Rohtas Nagar, Shahdara Delhi 110032, M - [protected]) & all the formalities have been completed in Sept'08. we were informed that the Voter Card will be delivered by Oct'08 end.

I am a resident of Bangalore Born and brough up here.. i have been submitting the form and till date not received a voter id... have visited the authorities and no one can answer this queries and no one gives right information, i have been trying to submit for me, my daughter and parents as per the given url mentioned in the web. http://bangalorevoterid.org/contact_guide.html.. it says shopping complex 1st floor, from last one week i stand in que to submit and they just ignore the same by saying it is Hosur and not giving any address exactly.

i think we should change the attitude of working people and guide properly when Govt. has given such a great and excellent system of providing Election card.. the officials are not utilising the system to the benefit of the public. Either they guide us or help us. I have found people from orrissa got a election card in bangalore they are holding 2 cards there and here.. a person born and brought up in bangalore does ont have and running to post to pillar.. last week i have visited 5 times. with no use. hope the concerned will help me on this.

Since two years many people came to our residance at SRT 344, Sanathnagar, Hyderabad 500 018 to fullfil formalities towards Voter ID. Till date we have not our ID cards. When i called up to GHMC they simply telling that u may get the cards before 31.03.09. Their response to querry is not proper. At the same time they asked us to make a complaint. That is the reason for this mail.Please arrange voter ID s before stipulated time.
