Yes you are right... I started a free trial of 2 weeks with them with all my paypal payment registered with them. The very next day I cancelled my free trial. I followed up with them to get it disconnected and asked them for assurance that they will not charge my paypal account. They promised me the same that I won't be charged. But at the end of 2 weeks they charged 14.99 and again I kept mailing them, got a reply once in a while and the reply is "we will soon refund it to you". After a month agian they charged me 14.99... i called them and asked them for their CEO/ head number or mail address. they said they won't give it to the customers. Atlast I cancelled my paypal account. This company is a total fraud/ PLZ DONT SUBSCRIBE WITH THESE GUYS. THEY ARE CHEATERS.

I agree with above comments. Customer support is not good either. I am trying it out from nearly 2 months thinking that they would fix the problem. But its of no use. I just have to throw the box. On the PC it works fine. But the problem is with setup box.

I agree, Watchindia.in is a fraud company. The same story is with me. I ordered TV setbox on 14th April, 2011 and they charged 80$. After few days, they mailed that the box will be shipped in 2nd week of May because of over demands (very funny). In the mean time, I cancelled the free trial and subscribed another channels here in Baltimore. I requested to refund back my money. And to my surprise, there is no more any reply from customer care...such a fraud Indian company...!!

I was specifically told by the management team that i would get my tv box in 2nd half of may. Today its already 31st may 2011 and there is no sign of my tv box. i really think i am being cheated and tugged. they are too slow and dont give your tv box. the service and response suck... plus refund process is at snail pace. customer care reps dont have idea about anything... please dont buy this product.

These are total frauds. The customer service guys have no clue. I was told I will be charge only 25.99 and instead they charged me 311.99. If I had their address I would file a lawsuit in people's court. These are the guys who bring a bad name for Indians. Beware of Watchindia.tv, a total waste of money and time.

I agree, they are scamers and frauders. They are cheaters and they charge you so much money but do not give swervices. I think that we should all complain to the TV networks who are with watchindia, like SONY, ZEE so that they know that there is a big market in North America, but watchindia is spoiling their reputation as well, since we will not see those channels

watchindia on pc will only work on squre PC. Widescreen laptop or ps will have a black borders on the left and the right. So please don't subscribe to watch india. They are scam and also note that their tv set top box will not show you all the program like Sony SET VOD shows more program on their Internet site but only 60 programs on the set top box which will not show any movies.

Same experience. They took their own time to cancel my account. Did not refund the cost for tv box and charged me for 2 months even though I cancelled it within a week

I am also a victim of watchindia.tv. When I contacted sales they said that I can pay month to month for a one year service and if I cancel the service before 1 year I will have to pay for the early termination fee (for which I agreed) on talking to them on chat (which is really a hassle and a pain) they told me that I cannot have the box as it comes only with 1 year subscription. I asked them to cancel the service and refund me and they simply said we don't do any refunds. I will be calling my credit card company and disputing the charge that's what I told them.

The customer service over the chat is so bad they take so long to respond back to each chat messages and then they say they have too many chat sessions going on as if they have more traffic then google.com..

WatchIndia.Tv customer servcie is horrible. I had subscribed for one year and I hardly used it 1-2 months. SInce the TV box doesn't get syned up if you use it once or twice a week. It takes more than one day to get updated. I called the customer support intilally and there was only one person all the time on customer support. He said they will get back to me with the resolution. bu they never contacted me back.

They didn;t refund me either for the rest of the months. I just forgot it. and after one year, they have charged my card without my permission. THey have renwed my subscritpion without even notifying me in adavnce. Thsi is ridiculous.
When I called the customer support, she didn't help me since they have that numebr only for the new sales. She asked me to chat with the customer representative. WHen I did chat with them asking them to cancel, she said she wil lforaward the request to bnilling department. After couple of days, I got an email asking me to describer the technical difficluites. I told them I don't want to renwe it. Now they are saying that atleast 14 days of notificatio nwas supposed to be given. SO, they are charging me 1 months charge. THis is totally ridiculous. First of all they renwed my subscription for one full year wihtout my permission and on top of this they are charging me one month fee.

This is fraud. This site is compelte fraud.

I fully agree . They cheated me too. I ordered the box on Dec 15 by paying $90.The box arrived in 15 days even though they started charging me on December 15. The box did not work since day one . I spent hours getting seeking a resolution. Each time I chatted with them they escalated the support level higher asking for 48 hours grace.

So the support level went from 0 to Level 1 to Level 2 to Level 3 to Supervisor level and then once again to Supervisor Level. One thing they are quick is in charging your card even with no service.

If by any chance the box is defective there is no refund. I pity those people who are willing to pay these crooks one full year of service in advance.

Total fraud! Most of the channels don't play. Don't even try Zee and Sony - they NEVER play. They kept telling me for 2 months that my issues will be resolved. Nothing happened expected auto-reply emails.

Hello All, Going throuh the same mess...250 down the drain... But however, I found the CEO's They are on Linkedin ...Send emails and escalate ..hopefully they may pay our money back.

If You have ever watched office office...working with watchIndia.TV team to fix the issue or get the money is real time example of office office ...issues will not be resolved ...You will not get money back

these guys are complete fraud...I am contacting my credit card company at least to make sure they can block them from charging further...also, trying to contact internet fraud department of FBI since they are registered in Cyprus there is nothing much legally I can do directly (like BBB or suing them)...

I totally disagree with you. i had some tech issues with my TV Box and i got excellent service from their Customer Support

Please file complain with bbb.org and once they have enough case against watchindia.tv they have to shutdown their business in US.

I opened a case with WatchIndia technical support last Sunday explaining them that I am getting 'no signal' out of the box and I have tired all different options including switching to a different tv. I provided pictures per request (which seemed odd) and since then all I have received is a run around from the techical support team. I keep getting emails that we will get back to you in 24 - 72 hours. And it has been a week. I won't go as far as calling them fraud, however it makes me wonder if it's taking someone a week to figure out what's wrong with a tv box. I will not recommend this product to anyone.

I have similar fraudulent case, with case number 00137744, i got this service in Jan-12 and it worked for may be a month or less and now these guys are not ready to refund the last case i logged was on 21st April and today they say they can only refund 70$ as i have been using the service for 5 month. they are fraud.

ALERT, ONCE, YOU PAY THESE CHEATERS, MARK MY WORDS, YOUR MONEY IS GOING INTO DRAIN. BECAUSE WATCH INDIA TV/LA TV, WHATEVER ARE, FRAUD COMPANY.
