[Resolved] Weston — Defective TV set of Weston | |
I bought a Weston (Akal ki baat) Color TV (21") from Reliance Digital, Vashi Navi Mumbai, on, 2009. It did not work properly even for a month. There is picture tube defect. The screen display multi-colors & images spoiled. The TV is getting offed automatically. Is it what is expected of the product made by a reputed company. My decision of purchasing a TV turned into a nightmare. There is no service center of Weston in Navi Mumbai, Reliance Digital is delaying in providing any service. i am following up with them from 2 months. I made a mistake by buying Weston TV, now I want replacement at earliest. Was this information helpful? | |

In case you plan to buy a TV, strike off Weston (Akal ki baat) from the list, this will save u time and money. The TV is crap, no service and Reliance Mart (retail shop from where this rare crap TV can be brought) takes no ownership. I am tired calling the service people for the past 2 weeks and above. Infact I believe Reliance Mart is the worst place to buy any electronic good. Let to take you all to the brief history of Reliance messing up businesses- they launched CDMA network, messed with people and now people have a genuine phobia regarding CDMA. This extends to Reliance Mart.
So bottom line: say no to Weston TV- that is akal ki baat
and try to avoid Reliance Mart, those guys are useless. Especially if you looking for service for good they have sold.

sabse bekar tv sabse bekar service. patiala = copra agency.sabse bekar service= 1 weton ka tv 2month se kharab hai. bahut complaint di koi sunvaai nahi. agar akal ki baat samjte ho to weston mat lena
As soon as I opened the packing of TV & turned it ON, I was taken aback to see the picture tube defective. The screen display was multi-colored & images spoiled.
Is it what is expected of the product made by a reputed company. My decision of purchasing a TV turned into a nightmare. How do you expect your other products of Weston to sell? Is this what the level of an ISO 9001:2000 certified company. I do not know who the bloody has certified this company with an ISO certification.
This is really pathetic situation. I want immediate replacement of the same at the earliest. If this fail in any case, I will take no time to move the court.
