Wi5 Broadband — Complete absence of service/ Extremely poor quality of service

Me and my brother share a broadband internet connection rented from Wi5 broadband powered by Zylog Corp. We have opted for the 1 mbps unlimited plan that is charged at Rs. 1010/- per month. We paid Rs.3000/- for setting up the connection which also included a security deposit for the hardware. The customer ID is AT39591 in the name of Medini Borah.

My last internet recharge was done on 18th of May 2013. After that day I was able to avail internet services for only a period of one week if not more. After that week, the connection developed some problem and there was no internet for a period of 4 days. The local office mostly remains closed and so there is no one to turn for help. The customer care lines are either dead or no one answers the phone. One day when i finally found the office open and someone sitting inside, I was able to tell him my problem and the internet returned only for one single day. After that the connection was lost and it never came back. We tried calling customer care number of time but no one picked up the phone. We even went to the local office to complain but the very few time that somebody was really there, they only told us to call customer service. When we wanted to surrender the connection even then they said they cannot help. That they are only sales people.

Rs. 1010/- of my money was wasted for that month as they never gave any internet connection after that day. No one picks up on the customer care lines. The local office is closed. They cannot take down our complaint or our request to surrender the connection.

I want to be thoroughly compensated for this severe breach of customer service protocols. If not anything elase I hope they have some corporate shame in them and return me all the money back. They can take away all their modems and wires that they want.

you telecom — Poor QOS

The ISP provides very poor QOS. They have very poor infrastructure which always fails. Either their cables break, or their server fails, or they say they do not have power supply. In the last three months since I have used this service, I have had to lodge 18 different complaints. The average repair time for each complaint has been about 2 days. Once, they took 18 days to restore service after I lodged a complaint. The call centre people are nice but they are just postmen. They only receive complaints and give me a number.
