[Resolved] Woodpecker Furniture — Poor service and support | |||
hi, I had purchased furniture (dining table, double Bed and chairs) from Woodpecker in Shivaginagar, Bangalore last year in month of Aug 09. First they sold all cheap chinese furniture to me by projecting that it was of high quality...I hardly used the chairs for 6 months and all of them broke... i complained to the owner of the shop and he said that someone will be coming to fix that up coz all the furniture comes with 1 yr standard warranty...then after 15 days no one came, I have been following up with him from last 6 months and he has been giving me false promises.. now today he says that as the warranty has expired he will do nothing ...can you please help me in dealing with the issue, any information will be welcome. I have experienced the same thing as other reviews posted here. This shop is really worst service and i can call them not less than cheaters. The seller sells the his products with full confidence and as per our terms while billing and delivers the same. From outside it looks marvellous and satisfied. But here comes the worst thing after 6months. Everything inside is boggus, they fool us, all duplicate material, More worst thing is, when we call the sales person, he gives his boss contact details and when call the owner of this company, he doesn't receive call and when he receives, his replies, i'm in meeting, call tomorrow, the concern person is not in town, the carpenter will come next week to your house, factory is closed for 10days, i'm out for lunch and sometimes he don't bother to answer any calls. Please don't buy things from this shop.
I have ordered dinning table set and sofa set from here and they told it will be delivered in 10 days. It has been 15 days and everyday I recieve new reasons saying there is no tempo to transport, furniture is yet to be polished etc etc. If we try contacting them, nobody is available to recieve the call. Its been a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I regret buying furniture from here.. Guys please dont do any deal with this shop . TOTALLY FRAUD AND UNPROFESSIONAL.

The worst experience of my life. It doesn't even deserve a single star. I ordered one king size bed, lounge sofa & a mattress. At the time of delivery they damaged the bed and promised me to replace the damaged part within a week but now its been around 2 months and nothing is done. Also there is VERY BAD SMELL COMING OUT IN ONE OF SOFA CORNER, i have no idea what it is. I called them more than thousand times (really i mean it) initially he gave some fake reasons & asked for more time and finally he stops picking my calls. I sent him so many messages but no reply.
I request you PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SHOP.
