Cox & Kings India — refund issues

We, three people, had booked a trip to thailand last month through the chennai office and had paid the full amount (Around rs. 150000) for the same. But we had to cancel the trip at the last minute as one of the members got infected with dengue and was admitted to the hospital.
Cox and kings did not return a single penny to us; neither did they offer us the choice of proceeding with the trip within a year taking the flight fare additionally.
I can understand the ticket fares are not refundable. But they should have at least paid us back the amount meant for accommodation and other expenses.

We have not been given the booking reference number so far. We just recd the air tickets. We were scheduled to leave on 4th Oct and I informed them of the concellation on 2nd Oct (the day our son got admitted for dengue). We have not even recd the vouchers for accommodation, etc.

The name of the officer is Deepak

The booking location is Cox and Kings Ltd, Pondy Bazaar, T Nagar
