Cox & Kings India — travel package cancellation and refund and return of passports | |||
Hi, It is a great displeasure to have booked a tour package from Cox and Kings India. We booked a foreign travel package in July for 04 passengers which was scheduled for departure on Tuesday, 24th Sep. We immediately transferred a sum of Rs. 1, 76, 000/- to their bank. On the night of Saturday, 21st Sep., we got a sudden communication from Cox and Kings regarding the last minute cancellation of the tour. They did not even share any reasons or just any info. on cancellation. We got back to them for the grounds and did not get a documented response. It has been 08 days but there has been no progress of refund of package cost. Moreover, on repeated requests and follow ups, they are stating that the passports shall be returned within 45 working days. They seem to be least bothered about the customer and his further travel plans. Their customer service does nothing except sending response after multiple attempts to reach them. We are utterly disappointed by the cold state of affairs and response cycle of Cox and Kings and we are not sure whether and when they are going to refund the package cost and return the passports. We sincerely condemn these sort of practices for the indian consumer and we seek refund and passports immediately. Was this information helpful? | |||
