I had admitted my mother based on the USG and CT scan reports which suggested of Neoplastic Etiology. The consulting Doctor suggested full body PET scans, Cytology, Biopsy, CA-125, CA19.9 and such other Pathology tests. After incurring close to Rs 75, 000, being admitted for 4 days and after doing all these tests, they are still unable to diagnose the source of cancer . They are still confused if it is in Kidney or Liver or Ovary or Peritoneal.
Now we are being asked to decide if we want to go for Peritoneal Treatment or Kidney treatment. We decided to go for Chemotherapy for Abdomen although the Primary Tumour is somewhere else.
