Delhi Jal Board — Wrong billing and MLOC meter status

I stay in a Government accommodation in Lodhi Colony area. My KNO IS [protected]. I am in receipt of a DJB bill No.[protected] dated 6th July 2022 for an amount of Rs. 2400/- (with LPSC Rs. 2521/-) that had 23rd July 2022 as the last date for payment and was received by me on my yahoo mail on 27th July, 2022. Neither I was sent SMS nor physical bill was sent to my residential address. The bill is adhoc in nature and has been raised as the meter status is MLOC. There is no previous or current meter reading in it. I don't understand why it is MLOC and why I was not informed about that. Moreover, the needful for correcting meter/status is to be done by DJB. I was given incorrect bill with misinformation. I am the only member staying in the accommodation. So, 56 units of water consumption is ridiculous reading and DJB should have taken previous readings (before MLOC status) into consideration before raising this adhoc bill. I request that DJB should send me the bill in actuals and not adhoc. Also the meter status be changed and needful be done by DJB.
