Dell India — Advance payment taken for undelivered Service and money not returned

I visited the Dell store on 14/02/22 as my laptop was not working. The employees checked my laptop and said that there was a problem with the battery and asked to pay advance money for the laptop's battery which was RS 2, 000 (already paid).

After two days, I went to collect the battery and tried the new one over there only to find that my laptop was still not working. The Dell executive forced me to buy the battery and pay the full amount, both the executives yelled at me and behaved in an extremely rude manner arguing and blaming me that it was my fault.

After a lot of shouting when I still refused to pay the money without knowing the actual reason why my laptop is not working, they told me to leave the store and go to another centre and even refused to give back the advance of Rs. 2, 000.

I was fighting alone with two executives who were shouting and yelling at me and was forced to leave without getting the problem solved as well as lost RS. 2, 000 to fraud and no fault of my own.

I was not aware that I would raise a complaint on ICC[censored]ntil today, therefore I would request Dell and the Indian Consumer Complaints forum to take action on this immediately and help me get a refund of my amount as week as take strict action on such employees.

This is already done. Apart from getting links to dell's page and call-centre numbers where my call just gets transferred to different departments, there is no solution to date.
That's certainly not how we intended you to feel, Tanvee. Please share your Service Tag with us so that we can get this resolved at the earliest.
