I purchased Dell Inspiron 7548 on 26/2/2017 by visiting Dell exclusive showroom in Kammanahalli, Banagalore ( Dealer name: 5 Computers) made a upfront card payment. After we switched on the system for the first time after getting it home and charging it was showing " battery permanently failed, needs replacement". We immediately took the system back to the dealer and dealer informed us that it is only software up gradation that is required, they will do the same and return us the laptop next day. On 28/02/2017 i get call from dealer, who tells us that the battery is faulty and needs replacement, which will take a weeks time. Meanwhile, We contacted the Dell customer care to inform and check on solution, we were informed that the laptop warranty is expired and dealer as sent request to extend warranty, which took us to surprise. Now the dealer says he will return the laptop and the battery will be replaced in due course by dell executive directly. We requested for refund or replacement of laptop instead the dealer told us there is no refund or return policy. We went for dell laptop with all trust on the brand but really disappointed with the attitude and harassment we faced. Was this information helpful? | |||||
