I purchases as Dell Laptop -Inspiron 7548 with International warranty on the 22 Aug 2015 for my son Sahej Aggarwal.
The service tag of the invoice & laptop is - 7RBRJ42
The hard disc of the laptop crashed on Thursday 26 May 2016 in Canterbury, UK.
When we contacted the Dell service center there:
1. Firstly they did not recognize the service tag, and only did so after getting a copy of the invoice.
WHY?
2. Secondly they said that their working hours were over by the time they recognized the warranty (4.30 pm on Friday) and we have to get back to them on Monday.
WHY?? - IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A 24X7 SERVICE
3. When contacted again they claim that the Laptop International Warranty expires in February.
HOW COME???
4. When contacted the dealers and Dell service in India, they say that International Warranty is still valid and service should be done.
WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE??
