Dell India — Dell laptop l502x

I am facing problem to get service for my laptop from dell because they are saying that some parts serial number mismatching. Read below u will know

After seeing all scenario and getting worst response from dell escalation and telephonic team i have come across to some of the major points that shows that dell is doing a fraudulent activity with its customers.

If we just take an example that my lcd is not working. So what will be the procedure to get it replaced or repaired when laptop is still in complete coverage and accidental coverage. Following are the steps.

1. Customer calls to dell and lock a call regarding his complaint he is facing issue in his laptop.
2. Then after 2 to 3 days technician visit the place of customer to check out the faulty part. Sometime first he come to check the part and sometimes he come aling with the part to get it replaced.
3. After that he remove the faulty and replaced it with the working part. Then he updates to dell via call about and get a customer signature on mobile. And takes a faulty part with him to send it back to dell.
4. After that we get a mail from dell that ur service is complete with the erof included in it which contains the info about the part is returned back to dell.

O after viewing all points above it is show a clear thing that there is no involvement of customer with any parts. Customer is not responsible for any parts which are sent back to dell by its own technician because the faulty parts are always taken away by technician only.
O customer is not aware whether parts are sent back or not whether same parts are sent which are taken from customer laptop or what.


But the dell escalation team says that customer is responsible for it. How can customer be responsible for it when the parts are taken away by the technician.

And after talking to dell escalation team and seniors i did not got any positive response. They were stuck to their words that your services are blocked now because some serial number did not match.


Now if we talk about mismatch so what i got a response from dell is that all the serial numbers of the all the parts are different and they are not matching according to our database. I again inquire to provide me the details which parts are not matched but they were stuck to their words all parts.
I got frustrated that how it could possible when all parts are replaced by technician only and are sent back by technician only then why it happens now.
Again i tried my best efforts to get the details how it can be possible that all parts are not matching so i tweeted and get a call from person who listen to me and give his best to provide me with the accurate information why this is happening so he told me that the hardive and dvd r/w serial are not matching thats why the service is locked.

If we come to why the serial number of hdd and dvd r/w is not matching so just read the following it will explain whole that what was happen.

If i say about my service so in april i locked the call for hdd and dvd drive replacement, on 12 april technician visit to my place with the parts and he replaced both the parts and installed the windows in drive. When he completed all then i asked for my faulty hdd so that i can recover my data from it so they told me sir it was not told me to do so but i said i have already told them and then i locked the call so he talked to dell and they told him to give faulty hdd and took the parts that u have replaced and put all faulty parts back and hand over the faulty hdd so that customer can go for recovery.
So he took all the parts he brought and placed my faulty parts back and handed me my faulty hdd to recover data from it. I have also got the erof from ur side in which serial number mentioned for both the parts which where returned back to dell because they were not replaced because faulty hdd handed and faulty drive putted back into my laptop and the parts that technician brought was returned back and technician also took my signature of mine on mobile. On 19 april i mailed that data recovery is done please process further replacement. On 25th technician visited my placed and replaced both faulty parts with the parts he brought and installed the windows and he took my signature again. But i did not got any erof from your side for the service provided to me on 25th due to which i am facing this issue because technician has not updated the data with the dell and he has not generated the erof for my faulty parts.
Due to which serial number is not matching.. When the data is not updated with the dell then how will it match?

So who is responsible for this.

And after last service i am facing many issue in my laptop because technician was not aware of this model due to which many parts got damaged and now when these issue were intolerable i called dell and locked a call and when technician came and verify all the details so what i found that some parts of serial number is mismatched.In last 4 years i have never faced such a thing that i am facing this from my last service.
The parts that are mismatched are the only parts that was replaced in last service it was the technician only who has not updated to u. So this is not my problem how u take it i have invested 26k to get complete coverage and now what i am here is that no service can be processed.

And i am not so foolish that i will replace or purchase the products my own and will get replaced in my laptop when i am having complete accidental coverage.

Dell team is not sharing even a signal thing with me about my laptop. Its my laptop why u cant share it with its owner even bank share details with account owner so whats the problem of sharing the details of my laptop with me.

Dell team is not providing even a single thing that information rather they are saying that whenever we have received the parts back for ur laptop the serial number doesn't match. I cannot trust this thing because in last 4.5 years i haven't seen this problem but from my last service which took place in april i am facing this issue. I had already mentioned about the whole scenario that happen to me while getting hdd and dvd drive replaced. But no erof provided to me for the service which took place on 25th april when the faulty parts are taken away by the technician and working parts are placed in my laptop.


So from all the scenario i want dell to answers some of the below points because ia m the owner of laptop and i have full rights to know about my laptop.
Following are the points for which i need answers from dell. (If dell is unable to answer any of the following it will clearly shows that dell is misleading its customer and doing fraudulent activities to deceive customers)

1. As dell says that serial number were not matching whenever they received the faulty parts back.
(Is serial numbers are not matched then why i am not informed about this)

2. Secondly i want to know which was the first part/s whose serial number was not matched and want to know the details of it when it was replaced.

3. If the serial number was not matched suppose in 2012, 2013 2014 or whenever then why i was not informed about it. But service provided to me whenever i faced the issue with my laptop.
(But after last service all happened this that parts didn't matched, before it was matching thats why the services provided to me in april 2016)

4. The service provided to me on 12 april and 25 april 2016 shows that in last 4.5 years all the serial numbers matched that why the service provided to me in april 2016.

5. If the update is not given to u by ur technician so i am not responsible.

6. I have a complete coverage service. If the details is not updated by ur technician its not my fault. At least u have replaced all the parts whose serials are matching. I have complaint about lcd back cover, woofer, bottom base, headphone jack.

Dell must have replaced this items whether hdd or dvd drive serial matching or not because i have not locked the call for these parts because they are working perfect from my last service. But technician has not updated it and even i did not got erof so i am not responsible for it.


On high priority i need positive response from ur side and get my laptop serviced.
