Dell India — Latitude E6440 battery battery dead

Myself engineer from Chennai metro rail(PSU). We are using 11 DELL lattitude E6440 laps for train maintenance. One of our LAP battery got dead which is confirmed by dell technical person. So i asked for quote. But i got reply that as follows
Dear Customer,
We have checked our stock details and we currently donot have a compatible Battery available for your system.We request you to check with local computer shop or online websites like www.compuindia.com for a compatible Battery .

already i spoke with ur technical person he insisted me to do some test in the laptop i did, and finally he said battery needs to be replaced. battery warranty is over and he said with in 48 hrs i ll be gettng the quote

my intention is dell has to suggest the compatible battery for this lattitude E6440 module, because still my laptop is under warranty for 18 more months, if i used any compatible battery on my own and it may leads to laptop failure which affects my warranty claim

After knowing the failure and my model no i cant get online quote for battry which is compatible for my lap. i spent 3 days for this failure still i need to spend more time to find the compatible battery details then i hav to quote and purchase. instead of suggesting website why cant they check and send us quote.
