I purchased the brand new dell monitor from nehru place, new delhi on 06th july 2016.
As soon as i started using it, i found a white line on the screen.
As it is an out of box issue, i contacted dell support they told me that it can get replaced with a refurbished monitor.
They are not ready to replace it with a brand new part.
They also told me to contact the dealer for replacement.
However, dell completely disagreed for the same.
Even dell support a pathetic role, they always try busy switching my call from tech support to customer care and back.
As per customer care executives it cannot be replaced as it is not considered as a damage or defect.
As per tech support, it can just be replaced with a refurbished one. Was this information helpful? |
As communicated by the team, defective Monitor will be replaced by refurbished part in case Brand new part is unavailable.
However it is extreme negligence and quality issue for a new product.
