My laptop didn't start on Monday. It had given that issue some months back too so I waited for some time and then tried contacting the customer care to which I got answered by the machine that the timings are till 6 pm. Then found the chat feature and tried to reach people through that chat. The executive there performed the basic verification and transferred the chat to some senior who responded very late, around 10-11 pm. After that he asked me to perform Customer Reseat which meant the problem was in some part that can be replaced by the customer.
I communicated to him that I can't perform it and so please assign the technician. My question and concern is very simple. The part is marked to be delivered on July 31, 2022. How can a company like Dell ask consumers to wait for 11 days to resolve an issue?
Another thing which I don't understand is, if I could have done it by myself, why can't the engineer come and resolve it instead of waiting for 11 days?
The last thing which I want to know is, why is there a shortage of supply of such a part in Delhi? Do you think that work can be stopped for 11 days for such issues? Was this information helpful? |
