Hi, I purchased a Dell Inspiron 15 5547 Laptop on the 25th of July for my company for an engineer on a critical path of project delivery. Within 1 week o[censored]sage on the 6th of August, the laptop failed to boot up and we lodged a complaint. Your service side called up and concluded that the mother board had failed. When we enquired the turn around time for the repair, it was mentioned that it is 3 working days. However, to this day (7th working day), we are repeatedly told that there is no parts availability. Even a call to the manager proved useless as no one had any visibility on the availability time despite assurance from your service team this has been escalated as I made noise that the laptop has been shipped with a faulty part!! We find this completely unacceptable as the engineer has to now share computer resources which is creating a bottle neck. What is frustrating and unacceptable is that there is no visibility on when this could get resolved. Adding insult to injury, the service manager colly asked if we want the machine to be replaced and which would take 24 working days!!
Unless something is done within the next 48hours, you are sure to lose another Dell customer..
