I am a Mumbai resident. I want to raise my voice and complain against DHFL ltd. for it's banking practices and the behaviour of its recovery agents which is causing me tremendous mental pressure and harrasment.
As every one is going through the hardest phase of our life during Pandemic due to Covid-19 so I am. I was working in the Gulf.
I have taken a loan of Rs.9 lacs from DHFL in Dec. 2015 and I have been re-paying my EMIs without fail untill before the Lockdown.
I have lost my job as international flights were banned since March 2020. Unwillingly I had to go with Moratorium of 6 months. Due to which the total no. Of EMIs have been increased from 300 to 374 even after paying about more than 60 EMIs, where these extra 74 EMIs are costing me around more than Rs.6.88 lacs. This is truly very shocking to me.
Harrasment by recovery agents:
In March 2021 EMI of Rs.9310/- dishonoured by the bank due to insufficient funds in bank account. Soon after DHFL has posted a notice on my unit and the recovery agents are continuously calling and talking in a very inappropriate manner. And threatening me for legal actions.
I promised them of paying my EMI on next due date but they aren't going to agree with that and kept on arguing with me very badly.
I request to whomsoever it is concerned to look in to my issue and guide me to resolve as soon as possible in a positive manner.
