I had sent my office laptop to the IT incharge through DTDC, from Bangalore to Bangalore only, on 6 Oct 2020. In order to cover for damages/loss, I had paid Rs 300 extra for 'carrier risk'. At the time of delivery, package was already open and laptop was damaged, so IT in-charge refused to take delivery. I was on 9th Oct. After that it is in RTO, but its status keeps on changing, sometimes it shows Hyderabad, sometimes no status. Since, its not with IT incharge, the cost of laptop will be deducted from my full and final payment. Calling DTDC Customer care is of no help, they just say its RTO and no reply is given to any email sent. It has been more than 20 days, they are not acknowledging that its missing. If I receive the laptop after salary cut, the laptop will be of no use to me. also, the laptop is damaged, so its repair cost will surely be duduced from my salary.
