The package consisted of a branded watch, a wallet and a pair of expensive sunglasses. The package was sent out for delivery on the mentioned date. While making the delivery request, nothing about the package was enquired, due to which i was unaware about what needs to be done while sending in the package.
The product was sent, and now its been more than a month, since its been sent and not delivered. Due to certain important engagements, i could not track the package. I went on an enquiry after two weeks from the sent date. They reverted saying its been sent to kerala. The next week, the reply was, due to incorrect receiver address, the package was sent back to bangalore rajajinagar office. Again, there was no response.
I made calls to the mentioned number[protected]. The lady who picked up reverted saying that the package is in trivandrum, and made me call to their tvm office, who replied saying it was sent back as they were unable to deliver the package, due to address issues/ receiver not responding - which is totally untrue as the receiver did not receive any call and the address was correct. Again calls back to bangalore was made, where they had no information about the package. About half an hour, the people made me do a couple of calls.
On top of all this, the manner in which the employees spoke was pathetic!! Disgusting!! Impolite. They spoke as though it was my mistake. When one employee, who was the worst, when asked for his name, he replied "this is none of your business"!! Dtdc recruiters - hats off to you for the amazing recruitment you make!!
They mentioned saying that it was because the details was not declared that the issue happened - as per company policy! If a package is roaming about, if the case founds to be that the receiver address is incorrect (Which was not in this case), doesn't it come under the company's policy that "it needs to be returned to the sender"?? Keeping the package in the company and throwing it away is a part of the company's policy??!!!
Dtdc is the worst ever delivery service one can choose!! The employees are so rude and impolite and i don't see any good purpose for the existence of this company!
My package is worth 6000 and more and i want all the amount back, without lossof a single penny!!!
This issue was put forward the operations team, head team, even the social media and even then, no response!! Great way to run the company and trest your customers.
I will see to it that this company will have spread a huge negative word of mouth, and will never suggest this to my circle of people!! I will get this news circulated as wide as possible!!
