I am from Hamirpur District of Himachal Pradesh. Some urgent documents were send through courier service from Chandigarh on my address vide POD No. Z69011482.
On 20 Nov 2015 I received a call from DTDC office at HAMIRPUR (Dosarka) that there is a courier on my name and I have to collect the same from there office. I told them to deliver it on my address but I was denied the same as the delivery address was not falling under their Area of Operation. Hence I requested them to deliver the courier to DTDC Office at MEHRE as I am residing near Mehre and could collect the courier after my Officer hours.
After many reminders the courier was not delivered at DTDC Office MEHRE and whenever I contacted them, their behaviour was very rude and irresponsible. So, on 27 Nov 2015 at around 10 AM, I contacted Mr. Manoj Pathak, Regional Manager DTDC and requested him to get my courier delivered at MEHRE. He assured me that the same would be delivered on 27 Nov itself. So, when I contacted the DTDC office at Mehre on 27 Nov 2015 after my office time, I was told that the courier delivery vehicle arrive after 7PM only, hence I was told to come on morning of 28 Nov.
But to my surprise when on 28 Nov, I went to collect the courier to Mehre, I was told that my courier was received at MEHRE from HAMIRPUR. Was this information helpful? |
