DTDC Courier — Refusal of Delivery to Destination by DTDC delivery boy

It's a pathetic service . i have sent Rakhi through DTDC xpress courier they charged Rs. 225/- and told it will delivered by 27th Aug if delayed then on 28th will delivered. Now today on 29th The delivery boy is saying destination is too far from delivery hub so recipient has to collect it from hub. How ridiculously it is. I think it's big mistake to choose DTDC.
