[Resolved]  DTDC — Shipment containing brand new mobile phone worth Rs. 7000/- LOST during transit

I recently moved to New Delhi but forgot to bring my new cell phone. My parents at Bhilai, Chhattisgarh booked the parcel on 23rd May, 2014 by Premium Product Express with tracking id V16836952. Within three days, I noticed that the consignment tracking is not updating anymore. When my father contacted the DTDC branch at Bhilai, these were their exact words "Its very unfortunate that a bag containing your and some 15 other people's parcel has somehow 'gone missing'. We're desperately trying to locate it, but we can't do anything beyond that." And after that they're only playing us in a loop and telling to come and check in two days. It's been 2 weeks today and they still have no idea where my parcel went. I tried contacting the DTDC branch at New Delhi, but they are also not responding once. I mean, this is a pathetic level of negligence and I don't know what to do now.
