Electrolux India — Charged for free basic installation | |||||
On 9th april, 2016, we purchased an electrolux ac whose details are given below: A-eletrolux 1.0 ton, 5*, white. More details can be found in the attached bill. The purchase was done from harmony house pvt. Ltd, baishnabghata patuli township, kolkata 700094. During purchase of the ac, we were promised again and again about free basic installation. We were approached by the electrolux through sms: "we have allotted your call to engineer esha - [protected], [protected]), pls provide him this code s41645 only after satisfactory job completion" When the engineer came to do the installation, they demanded a fitting charge of inr 1500 which was taken by the local electrolux customer service provider(Cooltech corporation). We would like to know if we were eligible for the free basic installation then we should get back our money back else we would take up the same with the company in consumer forum for misleading promotion..
