Nature of Complaint :
1. Box Packed Chimney dented and Rotary Fan NOT working
2. Poor Service and Installation

Firstly, it seems the company is dependent solely on the two mentioned individuals, so the attitude these two person will carry as if they own Elica, Italy. :))
Secondly, the installation was paid. Even after spending 34000, the installation was NOT FREE. but paid! That would have been alright, unless the installation was so inaccurate and immaturely done. The overhead exhaust pipe was sealed with a mere scotch tape!!!???? Can a mere tape handlE temperatures of deep oil frying cooking? it would have anyway come out, but it did so very easily during one of the checks done for the exhaust systems. This just simply proves the quality of installation. The installer kept telling me he had more installations to do, so was in a hurry for payment and works. they did not even screw the top properly and install the much needed upper plate.
Thirdly, the new chimney box was itself opened by the installer from Elica, Mr. Birbal. But to my surprise, the same was dented and the motor was not rotating. On this, we requested for a box replacement, but he said "ye to ho jaata hai during transportation, bahut complaint aati hain, hum theek kar denge"...god damn, a 18000 worth chimney has problems, and the company is not even taking care of the logistics handling.
However i agreed since we had little time to do the new house opening ceremony, so we continued the installation. The installer assured that he will get a complaint registered and get the fault repaired the next day. So we waited for an entire day next day after which he never took our calls.
So we finally decided to call up the toll free. but could not reach as the call will not be answered everytime. We called up for four consecutive days, upon which we got connected on 26th July, 2014.
After listening to the grave issue and concern of house ceremony, the service engineer reached us in less than 3 hours. This engineer (mr. Pandey) saw the installed product and assured the resolution on Monday early morning, since Elica remains closed for service on sundays.
Monday morning, we started calling Mr. Pandey and he just simply ignored our 26 calls. Toll free was not picked up again untill late evening when i was re-assured that the technician would call me. Anyway we failed to receive a call, so today (Tuesday) - 29.07.2014, we tried calling Mr. Pandey from another call and he picks up. On questioning why he did not turn up, he said its not my duty to answer to ur qustions. Please call up office, . " jab part aa jayega, to laga denge, dont call me again"
THAT'S THE ATTITUDE OF ELICA... BEWARE OF ELICA
i DON'T KNOW WHEN WILL THEY REPLACE THE FAULTY PART, BUT ONE THING IS FOR SURE, I HAVE FACED HUGE EMBARRASSMENT AND WILL TAKE THE COMPANY TO TASK. I HAVE ALREADY GOT THE PAPERS PREPARED FOR A CONSUMER COURT CASE AND MAKE SURE THEY SUFFER A BIG EMBARRASSMENT TOO.
