I had purchased the elica hob in mar 2018 - i starting using the same in jul/aug 18. This is not the first time that we are using the hob with glass... And enough care was taken in handling hob. Still the glass was shattered and thrown over the place when my wife as preparing the breakfast. Though there was no physical injury, there was a loud noise when the glass was shattered and thrown around.
Post contacting the contact center we were informed that this kind of instances takes place around one in 3000/4000 cases. Which means the company is aware of the same and it does happen.in that case why the customer should be charged where there is a known flaw in the product. On top of the same they have charged us for replacing the glass and also service fee towards the technicians visit.
Is it that knowingly the company has kept a flaw to make money through servicing the same. Was this information helpful? |
