Fastway — The mistreatment by the cable operators when shifted home

Hi, we shifted our home from chandigarh to derabassi in the last month. I had paid for my april month's cable rent in advance to chandigarh cable vision sector-22, and i contacted the local fastway cable operator in derabassi. He asked me to get my connection disconnected than he will have it transferred to his name. I did what he asked and went to the cable office in sector-22 chandigarh and asked them to disconnect it. Then the next day the local cable operator came in and he installed my HD connection and then after a few minutes it showed error-109 ie channel not subscibed error. He said that my connection is cut off on non-payment and he will first transfer the box to his name and my connection would start in 6 hours. He then went away and i waited for a few days and still it wouldn't work. I called him yesterday and he said that nothing can be done and i have to buy either a new set top box, or get a dish connection. I also called the chandigarh cable vision and they said they have done their part and they cant do any further and only my new operator can help. So i feel robbed in a way, i spend 2000 rupees to buy the cisco hd box, and i had paid all the bills, and even the april month bill and i'm having to suffer harassment from cable operators. I add in some details now about the connection and about stb so that someone from the fastway team sees this and help me out, and i will seek compensation in the consumer forum and i will get both the operator licenses cancelled if the problem does not get sorted out quickly.
