Fiitjee — samsung tab | |||
My son, who is in 10th standard, has enrolled for 2-year course at fiitjee saifabad secunderabad center and is currently in the second year of this program. As part of this course, we paid additional rs.35k+ for purchase of a samsung tab for remote study/tests and they have locked the tab to disable most of the features so that the student can focus on only those apps that are relevant for his coaching at fiitjee. However, in view of the ongoing covid situation when the regular school classes are also online now, for the last 2 months, we have been requesting fiitjee to unlock the device so that we don't have to buy a new laptop/tab just for school studies which would cause further financial hardship to me in these difficult times. But to our disappointment and frustration, fiitjee has refused to unlock the device causing financial and mental stress to us. Any advice on the available legal remedies will be appreciated.
