[Resolved]  Flipkart — complaint against flipkart for not fulfilling the order & befooling the customer

On tuesday, 23 jan 18, (6.24pm) i placed online order for john players regular fit men's grey trouser (Size 36) at the price of rs.665/- and order id was[protected] and made advance payment. As per update available on flipkart website, the order was approved on 23 jan 18, packed on 24 jan 2018 and shipped by india post on 25 jan 18 through speed post tracking number ad[protected]in. Order was returned to seller on the same day.
On my query from flipkart support, i have been told that their courier partner has cancelled the order and advise me to place fresh order for the product at the prevailing price of rs.1599/-.in this way flipkart has befooled me. Order was placed, approved, packed and shipped. Does india post got the authority to cancel the order and if so what were the circumstances? I do not believe that india post has the authority to cancel the order. Flipkart has tried to mislead and befooled the customer and none of their reply is reliable &transparent. Flipkart is legally bound to deliver the order at the same price which they have approved and accepted the payment. Such type of practices are not tolerable. It seems that no rules, regulations & guidelines are applicable on such marketplace. Would the flipkart and concerned department in the government of india take action in the matter to address the issue. Strict action is needed to be taken to stop such practices.

Subsequent to my complaint created with Indian Consumer Complaints Forum, I got prompt response from Flipkart and they have arranged delivery of product now. Satisfied with the resolution.
Flipkart customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
