Flipkart — POOR SERVICE EXPERIENCE FROM FLIPKART

Dear Sir, I am forwarding the same letter which I send it to flipkart narrating the incident 1. I had ordered a Global Nomad Linen Solid Men's Linen Shorts size 34 from your online store on 17th Oct 14. The same was received at the shipping address on 24th Oct 14. However, on trying out the shorts I found it to be oversize and requested an exchange with a smaller one of size 32. Thereafter, I received an email from you on 26th Oct 14 which states that I need to ship the package myself to the specified address as given below:- Rectangle number 180 Survey number 13, 14/1, 17/2, 18, 23/1, 24/1, 26 4th Kilometre Stone, Bilaspur Pataudi Road, Village Nurpur, Gurgaon Haryana 123503 2. From 27th Oct 14 till to date I have been going around with the sealed package across all the courier firms to ship the package back to you. All these firms upon checking for their service in your area along with the pin code of the address mentioned above has stated that it’s a remote village and courier services doesn’t reach till there. With utmost disgust I had checked out atleast 5 or 6 courier firms but with no joy. 3. I then checked the courier firm which you used to deliver me the item, so that atleast they might help me out in reaching you back, I discovered that it was BLUE DART. On reaching the Blue dart centre they again replied the pincode mentioned is undeliverable. You should also understand that I am just behind doing this one thing for the past 24 hrs. With all doors closed in front of me, I thought of calling your 24x7 customer care for assistance. Today I gave a call from the BLUE DART office at about 1130h for solving the mystery. Let me be frank, the assistance provided by the customer care executive was pathetic. He seemed to behave like he is my boss with zero intelligence/ understanding ability. To add to my loosing patience he put me on hold for nearly 3 – 5 mins which is totally not justified. At the end, he told me that the correct pin code would be 122001. Again to add to my worries, On billing the item for despatch with new pincode as told by your executive the BLUE DART service agent told me that new pincode also seems to be erroneous and is probably of the Gurgaon city. So I am still not confident in the destiny of the package shipped to you 4. Before I conclude, let me submit that this kind of a horrible experience should not be experienced by any other customers or me again. I believe by troubling the customer you would never achieve the 100% customer satisfcation displayed on the front page as a highlight of your company. If the issue was of a misprint in pincode then please change it at the earliest. The item will leave the agency at 2000h today, please inform me the correct pincode so that I can again help your firm. 5. As mentioned in the return policy email of your’s, I have despatched the item back to your address, BLUEDART tracking no: [protected]. I am also attaching the scanned copy of receipt for you to track or hunt the item to your warehouse. 6. During the entire episode of shipping the item to your warehouse I had lost 2 complete days work + atleast Rs 500 worth diesel in my car + mental agony of which I am sure your firm will not be able to repay anything back. So its my humble request that I had to bear a sum of Rs 310 for shipping the item, as promised please return it to me at the earliest without making emails/ reminders or troubling me further with some other issues on reimbursing the amount and delivering the new Global Nomad Linen Solid Men's Linen Shorts size 32 .
