[Resolved]  Fortis Healthcare — Extra Charge to Patient on Billing

Hi,

I was admitted to Fortis on 3rd April and discharged on 6th April. I had applied for cashless insurance for Corona Kavach through an insurance company.

Fortis charged me extra money for room rent charges beyond what was agreed from the initial authorisation approval from insurance company.

In the final settlement, they mentioned patient has to pay 7846 to hospital and they took 11746 from me.

The TPA company also confirmed it’s an overcharge to patient.

The Fortis team is not responding to any calls or emails and I need to submit complaint for looting customers.
