[Resolved] Fortis Healthcare — Terrible Discharge Procedure | |||
The release procedures of your hospital for the patient is extremely terrible. It takes hours for a patient to actually leave the room once the Doctor gives the discharge instruction. 1st instance took us 8 hours to actually leave (paid in cash - not cashless). 2nd instance - took us 7 hours (20 mins for cashless approval between sending to TPA and getting confirmation back). The whole time taken was by your team to send the file to the billing dept and then the billing dept sending instructions back. It has been a harrowing experience. We had to scream our heads off before we could get people to move and get the discharge done which was actually no more than an hours work. There was noone available to even lodge a complaint. Considering it is a specialty hospital charging luxury rates this is completely unacceptable and incompetant behavior. We are totally disappointed and such bad process and behavior was not expected from a professional unit. Was this information helpful? | |||
