I had faced a traumatic experience with get my cab. I am resident of
Bangalore and planned for a long weekend stay in Mumbai. I had booked
the cab online for a city tour in Mumbai for 15th August 2014. I was
charged Rs. 300 as an advance to get a confirmed booking. While booking
there was certain terms and conditions which I ignored as there was time
constraints. On 14th August 2014 when I was on my way from Bangalore to
Mumbai I got a call from the customer service representative of
bookmecab that there were service limitations due to the unavailability
of cab on 15th August. He told me that the cab will arrive from Bandra
(which is about 20kms from the pick up point) and as per the terms and
conditions of the booking I had to pay for that extra km. I did not
agree for the same and he insisted me to cancel the booking as I am not
satisfied with the service. I agreed and asked for the refund of the
advance amount paid at the time of booking. He agreed over the call and
hence I sent a message (as I was travelling and did not have an Internet
access) to cancel the booking. The booking was cancelled from their
end. But now when I am asking for the refund they are declining citing
their terms and conditions. Moreover, they are unethical in conducting
their business and do not have any customer centric behaviours. They
used foul language towards me on the call and was rude in their
attitude. Kindly take necessary actions if possible against these
people.
