Godrej Properties — Paid extra amount due to mishandling / carelessness attitude of godrej representative during registration 56

Following is a painful incident what i experienced during my home registration process by my builder godrej. I landed up by paying extra amount of rs 15, 240 just due to carelessness attitude for my builder and now they are just denying to compensate whatever money i have lost during the process.

During my registration time, godrej representative (Kamala) picked up all the required dds from me and dumped to sub registrar without checking whether the correct dds were taken or not. And when i asked repeatedly if any activities are pending or not kamala told that everything is done and i will be getting registered documents on coming monday. Fortunately or unfortunately, documents i got after one month and after getting the documents it was identified that the title deed/mod registration which is vital to submit to my borrowing bank sbi, was not done although required dds were taken by kamala to complete that activity. It was a great surprise to me hence, she took all the dds for the completion of total activities.

Immediately i informed this matter to godrej office in bangalore, they mentioned that they don’t do the title deed/mod registration. My question was that if they don’t bother about title deed registration then why kamala picked up those dds/banker’s cheq which were for mod/title deed registration.??

Initially ‘kamala’ tried to deny that she had picked up the dds for mod/title deed registration and later, she changed her statement telling that probably she had taken but could not remember and she agreed to give me the indemnity bond so that those dds could be cancelled and i can retrieve the money for those dds. By this time i got the information from sbi that those dds were already realized to sub registrar on 21st june ‘16. So, indemnity bond doesn’t serve any purpose here. I was ready with all my necessary documents along with required dds/ banker’s cheq which were issued from sbi to complete registration activities. But due to carelessness \mismanagement from godrej representative i landed up by paying of extra amount of rs 5080+ rs 10, 160 = rs.15, 240.
Mod/title deed registration is mandatory for those who has taken home loan from sbi. I don’t know how come godrej is unaware about it, and as a result i paid extra amount of rs 15, 240 to get fresh dd/banker’s cheq and completed mod registration to submit required document to sbi.
Earlier kamala from godrej denied that she has taken the dds from me and later on told me that she can’t remember exactly which are the dds she has taken from me. After that kamala told that she has handed over all the dds which were taken from me to someone from universal builder (Probably mr dinesh) so, i ask mr dinesh to get return those dds and he replied that the dds which has were given by kamala during registration time were deposited to subregistrar. It is very clear that once money goes to govt. It is almost impossible to get return back.
My open question to godrej is that : “why customer will loose their hard earned money due to nelignecies/ignorance of godrej people???”

I asked kamala that i want immediate refund of the money which i lost due to their carelessness or mismanagement which happened during my registration process. Now she started covering her faults during the registration process and starts ‘passing bucks ‘to me for all her mistakes

There are lots of arguments/logics are going on via email with kamala and me. Kamala is raising mainly following two points.

1. Kamala is saying that mod documents were not available with me during the registration time.
I am just quoting the statements what she mentioned

……..“since the mod was not submitted along with the dds you submitted for registration charges”…..

This is absolutely incorrect statement simply an attempt for ‘passing bucks’ on my side. I was ready with mod documents which was given by sbi along with required dds/banker’s cheq. Because, mod is mandatory from sbi and so, when they issues the dds for registration they also gives the necessary documents for mod/title deed registration. During registration day all these documents were shown to kamala but she only picked up all the dds. So, although mod documents was ready with me that was not been utilized bacause i was simply misguided by kamala. If godrej is not bother about mod registration then why kamala took those dds which were kept for mod registration??. This incidence proofs how casual and unprofessional way godrej handles his customers. If godrej does not have the competent fellow to handle registration activities (Which is done by each builder as a thumb rule) then they shouldn’t take responsibility of registration. Kamala should have taken only those dds which were mentioned in their mail for registration. Basically she had blindly picked up all the dds and deposited (Rather to say dumped) to sub registrar office.

Now it is ridiculous of saying that i have not provided mod documents during registration process.
Firstly she said that she didn’t pick up the dds for mod/title deed registration, secondly she told that probably she had taken but couldn’t remember. And next she is telling that mod documents was not provided. This is just and attempt to divert the issue and putting blame to me by covering her faults!!!

2. She also mentioned in her mail that
“as there was no specific mention of those two dds against mod registration, all the dds given by you were accounted in the sale deed”

In dd/ bankers check only the amount and to whom it is payable will be mentioned.in dd/banker’s chq there is no space to mention the purpose of that dd. Now i really don’t understand what she meant with this statement and trying confuse me by making this type of childish statement. It really doesn’t suit with reputation of godrej.

My clear question to godrej is that when the dds of rs 10, 160 and rs 5080 (For mod registration) were not mentioned in their mail related to registration then in which ground kamala took those dds from my file which ultimately created a total mess. This is simply because of carelessness attitude or mismanagement what she has shown during the process.
So, my question to management of godrej is that………why customer will suffer due to incompetencies and carelessness atitude of godrej people.

Godrej never gave me any discount or rebate for any single rupee. They charged interest for delayed payment on each single day and sometimes even though there no delayed payment but still they claims interest (Which is ridiculous, i will explain this in separate thread). Then why godrej will not compensate me for the amount what i lost due totheir carelessness.
I talked several times with their godrej customer care about this matter but they become passive listeners. I talked with mr arindam from crm team godrej, he clearly told me that godrej will not return me the money what i lost due to their insensitive activities and he doesn’t bother even i go to consumer forum with this matter. I am surprise to see this type of audacity from crm team of godrej.

I booked this property by seeing the brand name of godrej but if this is the attitude godrej folks then i am not going to think to invest in future on any other godrej properties and also i am not going to suggest to any of my friend to invest in godrej properties
