Gofirst Airlines — Refund for Flights Cancelled due to operational issues not processed.

I had booked flight tickets from BAGDOGRA to VARANASI via NEW DELHI via GoFirst. On the day of the flight, before my departure from BAGDOGRA I received call from GoFirst that my connecting flight from NEW DELHI to VARANASI is cancelled due to operational issues. And they gave me the option to either reschedule or cancel the flight. I had asked them for some time to consider my other travel options and they asked me to call back at the number atleast 2 hours before departure time. In this duration they had already booked me for a different flight from NEW DELHI to VARANASI for the next day.
3 hours before my departure at 10:31AM (Attaching the call time so that the airlines can check the recorded calls), I called them again and asked them to cancel my itinerary and they confirmed to me over call that the tickets are cancelled and the refund will be processed and that I would receive the mail regarding the same soon.
I haven't yet received the mail, and upon conversations with customer care multiple time, they said that the airport has marked me as no-show. Despite the fact that they had specifically informed me over call that the itinerary is cancelled and they were transferring my request for refund to higher autorities for the refund process.
It has been over 1.5 months since the incident, and I still haven't received a resolution from them. I have raised multiple email request, all of which are unanswered and calls to their customer care which do not connect.
