On 3rd June, 2022 I received a message and an email saying that my a/c is blocked due to address change letter undelivered.
I got my address changed on and the HDFC Bank representative changed it via NetBanking. The representative did not inform of the entire procedure that a letter will be sent and if it is undelivered the account will be blocked. I would have been very careful, if I would have known the entire procedure. It is my wedding in July and this is so sad that I cannot do anything because my account is blocked.
1. I went to two branches in my hometown in Kanpur and they had no resolution, all they kept saying that my account was showing active in their system when it is actually blocked.
2. I had a word with my RM but he was also not able to help me. Absolutely useless
3. I then visited my branch in DFL Phase 1, where they suggested closing the account instead of helping. Or the second option they gave is to go to the nearest branch in Malviya Nagar Delhi
4. I went to the Panchsheel Enclave branch and requested for CPV and no one has come for the verification since three days.
I have to buy stuff for my wedding. Do we understand what it is to have your hands tied during the wedding. This is some sort of a joke? I have my account since 7 years in HDFC bank and this is how they treat me. Being a woman it is so difficult travelling from one place to another. Was this information helpful? |
