For no reason was I charged Rs 5618 on 26/03/2015 as RENEWAL MEM FEE INCL ST AND CESS on my credit card [protected] when I was surprisingly sent this Regalia card last year even though I told the representative who called me up offering me an upgrade that I don’t want any upgrade and don’t want anything to change on my card as I have my utility bills paid out of this card. Yet I was sent this card without my acceptance. I had immediately called up your phone banking team on receipt of this card and had spoken of my annoyance with respect to me having received this card even though I didn’t want it.You can check the call recordings with respect to this and I am sure the same is documented in the notes. I was told to use this card as there is no fee charged for the first year for me and if at all I want to discontinue using it after an year I could do so and I would not be charged with any fee then. I was also promised to be sent an Taj Epicure Membership card which too was never sent to me. I am absolutely dissatisfied with the service and would request you to:
1.Waive the fee that has been charged
2. Downgrade my card back to the same World Mastercard that I had with zero annual/membership fee.
I feel very badly treated today when comparing back with the service provided by HDFC earlier.
